Music is one of the most powerful transformational elements we humans have access to. Imagine a film without music. It’d be a dull, emotionless affair. A guided meditation without music is ok, but with appropriate music, it is incredibly immersive.
So I would go so far to say that if music is missing in an e-course, the e-course will lack an important, if not vital, element of delivery.
Studies have proven that when people are listening to wordless music, especially Classical Boroque, Mozart (often referred to as the Mozart Effect), or repetitive hand-drum driven (shamanistic) music, or other indigenous/traditional (Aboriginal didgeridoo, Native American flute, Vedic Chanting, Sitar, etc) music, or other calming music that entrains the mind into Alpha brainwave states, the learning retention of information is multiplied massively.
A Stanford University research team showed that music engages the areas of the brain involved with paying attention, making predictions and updating the event in memory.

So my suggestion is that a segment about music needs to be included in the Adventure course (as well as the external Brain.fm site for us) for students to consider inserting music into the videos of their e-courses.
I’m happy to help in some way to create this…
    🙂
