This conversation is dedicated to celebrating the action steps you took, breakthroughs you had and progress you made? This will be a running tally. Come back every week and share your progress!

@andyfreist and I did our first eCourse Adventures Live webinar/podcast show. This is our new weekly show for the public domain to learn the art of eCourse creation (and all of you wild adventurers). We are stoked about this adventure to the GEA repertoire.

We also wrote our whole script for the GEA Outer Space Adventure (webinar) that will be launching in October. This is by far our best work yet. Can’t wait to share it with everyone!

    What about you?

    1) Logo design finished. Booooom.

    2) Finally had a breakthrough that it’s OK not to be OK with video.

    🙂

What do you mean by “it’s OK not to be OK with video”?

Does that mean that you’re not planning to use video in your course?

Awesome Lisa. That’s fantastic progress. Are you embroidering that logo on all your shirts now?! May wanna get a cape made too that you can wear in public…

Big breakthrough about videos huh? That was a potent coaching campfire on Wednesday  🙂

    Looking really great Hardy.

Just a couple small things that I noticed. Now, I’m not a gamer or your niche, so take this with a grain of salt.

    1. When I landed on your page, I would’ve loved to have seen a graphic or video at the top of the page.

    2. I personally think your profile pic for “Master Instructor” needs to be upgraded to something more professional. I also think a short bio about who you are at the bottom… shake your credibility  😉

    3. Your Facebook ads image looks awesome, but you many wanna be clearer that it is for Video Game in the written text.

Stoked for you good sir. Go get’em!

    My celebration for last week:

Dialling in the next draft of our outer space webinar adventure. This writing project has been time consuming and super fun. Today and Friday, Blair and I are getting together to complete the script, storyboard the scenes and find/create all the background images. I imagine we’ll film late next week, so we can have it ready for the first week of October.

I also did our GEA LIVE show and our coaching campfire solo and had no tech problems! Proud of my @andyfreist?

I am celebrating that we launched the http://www.CoursesWorthSharing.com website this week. It took us about 5-weeks to build (two weeks longer than expected) and the feedback we’ve been getting has been awesome.

It feels like we are now officially “in business” and ready to spread the holy gospel of the mountain out into the world. LOL

What are you celebrating this week?

I’m celebrating putting up the first video of my course. The first lesson will have 2 videos, the second one has the exercises. I’m way behind, mostly because the weather has made it very difficult for me to film. Still I want to celebrate what I have, and I’m more than open to feedback, even if it means changing/redoing it. I am planning to redo the part where I’m on the beach. I learned a lot about getting organized for less chaos in the filming studio. To make it even more challenging the parks people have been keeping me off the beach, because the island are closed on account of the wolf. Means I have to get my equipment set up without setting foot on land. Or at least minimizing the time on the beach. I fear they already have a thick file on me.

Here is the link to the first lesson, with the first video. http://www.gear.comfortpaddling.net/welcome-fluid-forward-stroke/module-one/discovery-island/

That’s an awesome celebration Paulo. So stoked for the progress you have made.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t watch the video. It says it’s locked down for members only.

Look forward to checking it out though!

    Hey Paulo,

Wow! Love your video footage – so awesome you are filming yourself in action. Very engaging and informative. Since, I love kayaking and I am a beginner, I see so much value in these videos. I like that they are not long too.

    Well done!

    Jennifer
