I currently blog at http://www.teenlaunchacademy.com (though i haven’t done much lately because I’m working on my course). Is it okay to blog there and promote my course there? My TLA site has a subscriber list of maybe 25. Should I start a blog on my Mission Possible course site and just focus on that? Should I just combine it all into one? Do I even need a blog? Ack! So much to think about.
My brain is saying just focus on Mission Possible and build that site and blog up. It’s better to have one site for each venture. But then I start to think maybe I don’t need TLA at all? But, it’s kind of my baby, so I’m just not sure what to do.
It’s so good that you’re blogging! I admire your discipline. Despite loving writing I have never been able to get into a good rhythm with blogging before. Agh.
Is there a way you could put TLA consciously on hold while focusing on Mission Possible? E.g. Tell your people you’re going to be away for a while. That way you’re both keeping your baby and giving yourself the headspace to GSD on Mission Possible, and you can figure out later on if you still want TLA in your picture. WDYT? I agree having a separate site for each venture is a good idea. Maybe later on you could have a different personal ‘umbrella’ domain that links to each of your projects?
Thanks @Bradley Morris for helping me clear out the muck. You’re right, of course. I do NOT need both sites. I was just not feeling right about abandoning TLA. But I do like your idea, @Lisa R, about telling them I will be going away, why and maybe redirecting them to Mission Possible.
