    Hey Crew,

I came up with the Quiz to help build my news list and promote the eCourse I am working on, “Survive The Storm of the Century in this fun and interactive eCourse Adventure. Learn essential skills and create a REAL disaster preparedness plan for your family in less than a week. ”

Can you take the quiz and let me know what category you score in? Did you find it easy or hard? Is it intriguing? Do you want to learn more? How could I make it better?

It is set up as an email opt-in right now but if you comment with your email in the comment thread I will remove you from my email list. I’m not trying to sucker you onto my list, just looking for honest feedback.

    Thanks, Everyone!

    Cheers,

    Chris G – Changing World

Howdy Chris! I done took yer quiz and found it quite interesting. Definitely intriguing and got me thinkin. I wasn’t clear what my score was, however. It said I could do better. My only feedback was that the Answer/Score page was not as clear and polished as it could have been. I don’t know if this is possible but it woulda been nice to see what answers I got right/wrong rather than me havin to remember what I’d put previously. And maybe that page is a good opportunity to offer a bit more around the solutions you’re suggesting.

Ouch!  I scored below 25%.  I figured out some of the “multiple guess” answers (mostly because I’m a good test-taker, not because I actually knew the answers) but I am obviously not adequately prepared in case of an emergency, which is an accurate assessment.  I’m not prepared in case of my actual life happening as it is right now, either, but that’s a different quiz.

The quiz was clear.  I was satisfied that I got to see the correct answers at the end.  I was surprised about the answer for the tornado question – that’s what I thought I was supposed to do.  It was similar to the type of quiz I’d take for my annual competencies at work and as such I feel that it’s strong.  It certainly gives me an idea about the types of things I may learn from your course.  I think it will generate email addresses (because everyone will want to see their results, right?) and I look forward to hearing what others have to say.

I noticed two typos – on the first question it’s “During” not durning, and on question 10 it’s “Hepatitis” not hepetitis.

This quiz thing is such a good idea!  I love the graphics you’ve incorporated, and it sounds like you’ll be covering a lot of info for the course.  PLUS – I’ll bet there’s lots of places that need to do emergency training for their employees (at my job we have to do training ourselves once a year, and we also have to review quarterly with our patients) so there will definitely be a big market for this type of thing.  Good luck!

Thanks for taking the time @LauraKoller & @rangerbosslady,

Your feedback is SO helpful. Anyone else able to give it a quick go and let me know how you do and what you think?

@LauraKoller & @rangerbosslady, would either of you be interested in being a Beta Tester for a guided meditation activity i just created on Developing Situational Awareness & Thinking like a Survival Expert? It will take approx 25min to do but should be fun and highly educational. If your interested reply with your email and I’ll send you a link to where you can download the file.

    Cheers,

Hey @laurakoller & @mars, I added you to the communications thread around the situational awareness beta test. You should get an email today with a link to the Quiz (Laura, just ignore the first email since you have done it already) and tomorrow you will get an email with the audio tracks for the awareness exercise.

The awareness audio tracks are meant to be listened to outside in a public pace such as a park or even downtown. I think they are pretty cool so I hope you enjoy them. There are 2 tracks, 11 minutes each.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    Cheers,
