Hi guys hey I need some advice :
So I have 2 course names: EthicalPriestessing101, and TheIntervalOracle. Soon to be followed by Same Sex Circuitry.
Is it advisable to buy these names? I already have three websites – one fully functional – http://www.pleasureismedicine.com and two under construction. Is it better to have links on those websites to a few custom ecourse sites? Or set up a course on teachable as pleasureismedicine which has those courses as subsections? Just wondering.
Love love Calliope
June 6, 2016 at 6:59 am #24473Separate domains sounds like the way to go. Are all of your interval healing students likely to want your other two courses? Are they all intertwined with content or theme? Do they all fall under the pleasure is healing umbrella?
If not, then I’d definitely go for separate domains.

June 8, 2016 at 6:31 am #24686I’m conservative about branching out a lot, but I’d get the domains, too. . . . I think it will help establish the unique identity and value of each course.
June 8, 2016 at 3:43 pm #24770I would buy those names regardless of what you do with them. If you end up with one umbrella site, you can set up those url’s to just redirect to the appropriate page in the umbrella site.
Otherwise, they can be unto themselves with links to the other courses if people are interested in everything you are teaching.
Either way it will serve you to have them.
They all sound interesting. Good luck with figuring what best works for you.

August 11, 2016 at 11:37 am #29042Hi Calliope — I’d love to talk about your Priestess course, I think it’s really important especially if you can bring a light hearted attitude to it, I find the labelling and endless taxonmy around gender really tiring and heavy and find it a very edgy and not well spoken for area. People get offended very easily I’ve noticed, especially in the states.
I also feel the pleasure IS medicine and I’m actually looking to have a “refferal team” linked into my WildSelf project so I’d love to talk to you about that too! thanks for the courage to share and create!
August 11, 2016 at 12:11 pm #29056Catherine! Yes! I am really floundering with the Priestess course. I made a little pre alert video – which I have attached – but I SO agree with the lighthearted thing and joyful invitation. I got a bit like who am I to be addressing all this shit and actually more to the point who wants to hear it! I don’t want to lecture but I do want to be helpful and provide a friendly and fun way to look at inclusivity – gender, racism, disability exclusion etc etc to enrich Goddess communities not cause more conflict. I am thinking now I drop it and build up pleasure is medicine as an ecourse! http://www.pleasureismedicine.com
I would LOVE to be part of your referral team for the Wildself yes 🙂

August 12, 2016 at 12:11 pm #29098I LOVE pleasure is medicine!! I think that would be amazing. It covers a big part of what I want to encourage people in to, and I’m realising I dont need to DO ALL THE THINGS but rather align with allies who are on the same team! (although I dont meet many people who really get this). Are you up for a tea and skype at some point? I had a look at your website and got all excited by you and would love to connect in person.
The video link didn’t attach, can I find it elsewhere?
I know it’s un politically correct but I find a lot of the discourse on gender etc gets very mind based, heavy, difficult and I’m not sure all the distinctions are that helpful, so why not focus on what brings people together or crosses all the boundaries, like pleasure?
My idea with the WildSelf is to have a story about creatures, separate from gender or inclusive of whatever aspects of gender are important. Talk about universal themes and I think that YOU are inclusive of gender and ethical about it sets a good example to model. Rather than lecturing others what to do, show them how to be. That’s where my thoughts have been turning!

October 18, 2017 at 5:36 pm #59124Mhhmm @calliope6 loving the tagline! Was just peering into your “tent”site and saw you posted “meditations coming soon”~ how is that all going? @bradleytmorris is a great fella on this mountain to check in with for all that inward calming stuff and bringing it to the world.
