@davidj – What constructive feedback.  I actually agree with everything you’ve said.  More specifics and some form of accountability/sharing.  Definitely incorporate the paper assignments into the video lessons.  I’ve been thinking about investing in a microphone beyond the one in my iPhone.  And pulling the viewer in with empathy and encouragement would definitely round things out – you demonstrate that so well in your own videos.  Your points about inspiration vs. emotion are also very well taken.  In the words of Teddy Roosevelt: “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”  I’m reading “Talk Like TED” right now and, beyond passion, the next presentation superpower is storytelling.  I’m planning to watch some of the featured TED talks and really pay attention to how they introduce and build a story.  Thanks for taking the time to share and express your suggestions in such a positive and encouraging way.  Much much MUCH appreciated.

@bradleytmorris – Thanks for your suggestions.  I do see how far I’ve come.  I’ve already grown so much since presenting my first teleseminar 6 months ago, sharing my GEA video introduction 3 months ago, and then launching my site/blog a few weeks later.  I’m developing confidence in my ability to convey a message to a larger audience and I’m learning to use all these tech tools that seem so intimidating.  That being said, I still think it’s fair to say, “I’ve tried this, I want to work with it some more, and I’m going to let it stew a bit while I turn my attention to something else.”
