Well that was an intense June/v beginning of July. I’m just home from another epic birth.

I have a lot of catching up to do and plan on doing all of that this week. I’ve been inspired by the work of so many of you @movethinksmile @xbobby @saramccann and @stavido as simple examples. I can’t wait to dive back in and find out what’s going on with @davidj and @chrisg

I’m about to head over to the gorgeous Oxford for a few days, but sadly can’t transport my lights, so the GSM will have to wait for my return. Still, I’ll be able to tighten up and hone my scripts. I also need to format and upload my Screw It challenge. So hopefully my July will prove to be far more productive than June proved to be. Babies. What you gonna do. They come when they come, in the time they like to take.

You do work so hard Mars and I have been thinking of you these past few days and hoping that you have manged to have some quiet and productive time in Oxford and all babies have stayed snuggled up in their mothers’ bellies!

Looking forward to hearing if the Oxford trip has yielded any good rewards and keeping everything crossed that is the case.

Thanks for checking in @saramccann I did indeed get lots of quiet and productive time in Oxford. No more babies before mid to late August. Am back in Oxford for a few days at the beginning of next week to get more done. There’s a lovely wall there, so I’m thinking about taking my green screen (with white tac) to see if I can’t complete those videos and hopefully finish ‘Screw It’ as well as GSM.

Hey @mars, I haven’t been on the mountain in a few weeks, and thought I would say hi. My day job has kept me very busy that last few weeks, and I am finding it challenging to carve out time for my course, let alone Green Screen Magic. I’m hoping to make at least a little progress the next couple of weeks. How are you doing?

Hey @stavido Like you, my day job has been hammering away at me. The last couple of months went into the busiest of frenzies. So I’m doing what I can to carve out some time. It’s very frustrating cos I feel things are right at my fingertips and then blam! Day job takes over. But I won’t give in. Things are about to ease and I’ll get at least a day a week to concentrate on eCourse creation. Really need them done and dusted.

    Hey @mars,

Just popped by to say hey and remind you to keep taking little steps even if there are big spaces in between. That has been what most of my journey on the mountain has been and all of a sudden I think I can see the peak and it has inspired me to take a leap.

    Cheers,

Okay. I’m back. And I see that the Monday sessions are now Tuesdays, so will try to readjust my diary. And I need to reconnect with my mountain buddy.

Life has been almost impossibly busy recently, so I’ve had to step off the mountain to deal with that. Plus it’s the school holidays. Two more weeks and then it’s done. I need to move my eldest daughter to University (college for you in the US etc) mid September as she’ll be off to do her Masters.

So I haven’t forgotten you and I’m en route back. I need to GSD. And this is the time to do it.
