In the next 30 days I am tied up with travel or recovery and teaching long days away for 7 of them, but the following 30 is even busier. That leaves a good 23 days where I’m only 3/4 busy so I am doing this.

I teach a new (to North America) equestrian discipline called Working Equitation which involves navigating obstacles on your horse, in both a technically correct phase, and a speed phase.

I do clinics in various locations and they don’t always have all the equipment needed, so we get creative. A lot of people don’t have much money, or much room to set up a full course to train on like we have. I tell them they don’t need it to start with and try and explain how they can do without.

The transformation I want to make available to riders is to feel confident in their ability to successfully train their horse for Working Equitation obstacles (with a minimum of equipment) even though they don’t have much money or space.

I am committing to working on this project 6 hours each of the next 4 Thursdays plus other times in between when creativity strikes me.
