Hello fellow mountaineers,
I’m a bit late to the party, but am committed to doing my (more or less) daily 500 word part and get my Seeker’s Journal started. Hopefully by the end of the month I will also have more clarity WHAT it is all about.
So far, it’s only a pretty nebulous concept to create a mix between a course and a book, aimed at creatives and other seekers. A guide/inspiration/reality check/useful thing for people choosing to do their own thing.
Happy writing everyone!
Jutta
November 8, 2017 at 5:31 am #61391Yeah, I wrote 748 words this morning, starting the ‘Seekers Journal’. It’s not perfect, but at least I began :-). Also, being on a role, I edited 6 of the 12 sections needed for my new free opt-in called Alchemystery. Feels so good!
Thanks @davidj for getting me excited about this challenge, and @bradleytmorris for starting it!
November 8, 2017 at 6:16 am #61395I know how powerful your work is first hand and I am so thrilled that you’ve jumped into this month’s challenge!
What a great start today!!
November 8, 2017 at 6:31 am #61398November 8, 2017 at 12:27 pm #61454Hi @jutta so lovely to see you on a challenge. What a fantastic start you have made with 748 words. Perfection doesn’t matter, it’s getting up, out and doing it that counts and you have! And when it makes you feel good too – well, that’s the icing on the cake!
November 9, 2017 at 1:40 am #61532November 9, 2017 at 1:47 am #61536@saramccann are you also doing this challenge? Hopefully this gets to you, for some reason it doesn’t highlight your name…
November 9, 2017 at 7:48 am #61558What a great start! I’m interested to learn more about your Seeker’s Journal. It sounds like you’re interested to learn more about what it’s going to become also 😉
The Alchemystery sounds intriguing to me. I look forward to seeing what you end up putting out there. Just keep plugging away at the keyboard often enough and something useful or mind-blowing is bound to come out.
November 10, 2017 at 11:10 am #61718Hey Jutta – Interesting stuff! And want to second Sara’s comment about perfection — write first, edit second (and “second” can be next month, after you’ve nailed this month’s challenge)
🙂
November 11, 2017 at 1:27 am #61761Hello dear Laura, yes, am very curious to find out more myself :-). I did pretty much finish the Alchemystery thingy, will put a link up once the last edges are polished. @laurakoller
November 11, 2017 at 1:28 am #61763Thank you dear Judy, yes, much better to first get it all out instead of getting stuck yet again in doing it perfectly 🙂 @judyb
November 11, 2017 at 1:46 am #61771So, an update. I wrote 650 words right now, but it was an energy report for a client. Does that count? Yesterday I re-wrote and edited Alchemystery, going to put the finishing touches on now and then publish it and move on in earnest to the Seekers Journal. Not exactly sure how many words I wrote yesterday, but was a lot more than 500. Loving this challenge! I actually get stuff done :-).
Thanks again @davidj for getting me to commit
November 13, 2017 at 12:55 am #61938I am done with the writing for ‘Alchemystery’. It’s a new free opt-in, a divination tool. If you want to have a look, here is the direct access without the opt-in:

The password is visionquest
Now on to today’s writing which will be a blog post. Hopefully, by tonight I can report that it is done 🙂
A beautiful day to you all!

I have minor feedback about layout but trivial really.
The content is seducing my soul… I love flipping the cards over. I flipped STRENGTH again… Love this one.
