@Bo These videos are great! What a clever buddy I have 🙂
November 3, 2017 at 8:43 am #60934My description of what my eCourse is about:
The course is about how to get less stress in our daily lives. I have experienced heavy stress twice. The first time I was sick for half a year. The second time I knew the danger signals and could, therefore, do the right things much faster and avoided a sickness from my job, the second time, so it’s important to know what to do, when you feel the stress starts to fill too much, and that is what my course is about. The Course is to adults, not the child as I thought when I begin.A short description of the module and lesson outline (1st draft style — does not need to be perfect)

A final talk about stress and the futureA short description about your unique theme.
In this course, I will use the 2D animated character, where they talk about stress and how to work towards less stress in our daily lives. My theme is an unknown city where there are different doors and rooms. Some doors can only be opened after making certain decisions. The city can easily feel like a maze when you are stressed. The aim is to find “The to do park” because it is here that you can start doing the things that will reduce your stress.
November 3, 2017 at 8:50 am #60937Hey @xbobby,
This sounds incredible! I like the idea that you can only open certain rooms after making decisions! The moving through the city to the park feels like a metaphor for life. We are all trying to get to the beautiful park out of the crazy city.
Maybe you can also talk about some coping techniques, today in the car I was feeling anxious and I took some deep breaths and that really helped.
Look forward to your update tomorrow,
Your Buddy,
Sophie xx
November 3, 2017 at 8:53 am #60942xbobby;
I like how you used the doors to improve the user’s decision-making skills. How are you setting the doors up? Are they graphics images with embedded hyperlinks?
Thanks,
Mike
November 3, 2017 at 9:03 am #60947Hi @MichaelPozesny

November 3, 2017 at 9:12 pm #60983Such a cool, imaginative journey. I can’t wait to see how you teach the lessons and guide the process. It’s fun to watch your creativity come out @xbobby
November 4, 2017 at 6:25 pm #61036I am catching up on this thread and seeing how it’s all developing.
As someone who has worked with kids for 20+ years and is in the mental health field, I can tell you the following:
- There is not enough help out there for kids around stress.
- The problem is not stress (stress is part of life) but how we deal with stress. (see this wise TED talk)
- Your theme and way of helping kids to navigate through stress is empowering and sounds great!
- Check out other ecourses or resources for kids around stress as it might help you learn from some other great ventures and also see how your work is unique. There is a lot about Mindfulness theses days in Mental Health and schools and hospitals but 95% of it (even when designed for kids) I find is too top down instructional, boring or passive. Having it be interactive, immaginative and empowering is key. Check out Superbetter as an example of how to do it well!
- I would also suggest gaming the theme you have — at the very least, breaking down parts of the journey into levels or stages… so the kids feel like they do when in a video gaming that they are progressing and improving.
- In terms of who to market this to, I would really focus on parents and teachers. Parents especially. They stress so much about their kids and how unprepared and inadequate they may be in dealing with their own stresses. To be able to help their child by buying them you ecourse and see ing their child benefit = awesome! Hey, you may even end up designing a parent or parent AND child version where they navigate together and learn to face and respond to stresses together!
- I just want to leave you with a big huge thumbs up from someone who knows the terrain of kids and what they are needing and not being taught! You are doing something ground breaking and vital!
November 4, 2017 at 11:09 pm #61043Hi @davidj
Thank you for your many deep words and yes, you know a lot about children. But the course here has now changed to a course about stress to adults.
It’s because when I begin with the structure I could see, that it was the adult I talk to, and my energy has changed to make a course to an adult instead. My experience about stress is as an adult, not a child, so, therefore, I have to change the course to be a course to adult.
November 5, 2017 at 4:29 am #61045Thanks for clarifying. Don’t know how I missed that! : )
Wondering what kind of support or feedback (if any) you may be seeking from this community.
All the best to you in creating the most effective and satisfying ecourse on helping adults to face stress!
November 5, 2017 at 8:07 am #61051Hi @davidj
In the next 3 month, I will learn Character Animator, Illustrator, and Photoshop, so I can make the 2D animation that I will work with on my eCourse. And I think when that time came I will need a lots of help.
So of course, I need help, but I always ask for it, when I need it, so it is easy to know, when I need help 🙂
Thanks for your feedback to the children — you do it quite well – If I was a child I will be happy to have you as my teacher!
November 5, 2017 at 8:57 am #61054ABOUT WEEK 44:
1. What I intended on accomplishing last week:
I need at week one week to finish Creatora Heights, so that will be my only focus next week.2. How things went — the good, bad & ugly:
The bad thing was that “Who” the course was to, change to the Adult and not the children. So I should find a new theme and a new way to do it.
The change came because I could see that I write to the adults and not to the children. The mistake I make was that I have begun withe the theme, before I work with the different subject. But I am satisfied with the new result, and I think it will be good new eCourse. In the new course I will use 2D animated character, where they talk about stress.
My theme is an unknown city where there are different doors and rooms. Some doors can only be opened after making certain decisions. The city can feel like a maze when you are stressed. The aim is to find “The to do park” because it is here that you can start doing the things that will reduce your stress.I was a good idea to focus my hole energy to finish with Creatora Heights. So I now can focus the most of my energy on all the new programs.
3. Where I’m at now, what’s in my way & what I need?
Next week I will only focus to begin to learn to work with the illustrator with the good tutorials I have.4. What I’m going to do in the coming week:
The same as I need.November 12, 2017 at 3:07 am #61871About week 45:
1. What I intended on accomplishing last week:
Next week I will only focus to begin to learn to work with the illustrator with the tutorials I have.2. How things went — the good, bad & ugly:
I have always dream about to learn Illustration, and now it happens, it’s so cool. I have now completed 13 of 95 items the first week.
I still use my quiz program Anki, so I can train all the shortcuts on Illustrator. Because there is a lot of information to remember, when I must learn all the new programs, and I have learned 150 English glosses the last 30 days.
I have found a good way to work with the week planner Trello. So it is easy and fast to navigate between all the different tasks from a Word document.3. Where I’m at now, what’s in my way & what I need?
When I started with Character Animator, I don’t know anything about this program. Now I can see how fantastic it is, but also very complicated to work with, so I must now find a more easy way to work with Character Animator. So I can start up with that program in the mountains 3 months from now, as I planned.I need to work with illustrator 1 to 2 months
It is time to check my idea on the Validation Swamps.
4. What I’m going to do in the coming week:
Find a simple realistic plan with Character animator.
Work with illustrator the most of the week
Check my course idea on the Validation Swamps.November 18, 2017 at 12:14 pm #62689So I am coming to the Validation Svamp and shall validate my course ideas. I like it – but what did you think about my first e-course on the internet – is it okay?
What your course is called (name and tagline)
The stress’s maze – I am not 100 % sure about this title yet.
Find a way through itWho you made it for (what they’re wanting).
For an adult who has stress in their daily life and wants to have less stress in their life. What the transformation is you’re providing (results).
The beginning
They are a place where they feel stress in their life, but they don’t know what they should do with the stress when it came. The end
They have learned about how stress came, and the 3 different levels of stress, is and how they get less stress in their own lives. How long the course will take them to go through.
1 – 3 weeks. One week if you only see the videos, 3 weeks if you make the tasksA list of some of the tools you’ll take them through.
I will use 2D character Animators who has a dialog about stress.
I will also combine that with graphics programs. So you sometimes, see different graphic when they talk about the subject.
And there will be different PDF document, so it is possible to go deeper with the subject of the lessons.Your theme and how that weaves into the experience.
My theme is an unknown city where there are different doors and rooms. Some doors can only be opened after making certain decisions. The city can feel like a maze when you are stressed. The aim is to find “The to do park” because it is here that you can start doing the things that will reduce your stress. What the regular price is going to be and what your pre-launch special will be.
This course is freeAnything else you feel necessary to share?
For me, it is not impotent to sell this course and get money for it. For me is my dream goal for the first year that I will learn all the good skills I wish, so I after that can make E-learning on a much more high level.
I will not rush but made a good strong fundament for my eCourses in the future. After that, I am ready to make my first course that I will take money for. And I will use 2 years to that project.November 18, 2017 at 11:26 pm #62713WEEK 46:
1: What I intended for accomplishing last week:
Find a simple realistic plan with Character animator.
Work with illustrator the most of the week
Check my course idea on the Validation2. How things went — the good, bad & ugly:
On a normal Character in Character Animator, there is 40 – 50 layers in Photoshop. So there is a lot of graphics to change, to make a new character. I also don’t have the skills yet in Photoshop and Illustrator to do that. If I should wait to I have that, it will take to long before I can start. Adobe has characters, but not a character I would use in min course of stress. So I will do it on another way, to the next Week I will I find too good flat cartoons, and so I will work with them and give them some lips (2 x 13 different layers), so I can begin to work with the character on a more simple way. I think that is a good plan to make it more simple with Character Animator, so I can start on my course 3 mounts from now.
I send my validation of my course on the CAMP, so I am finished with that project.
I have a big problem to work with Pathfinder and Sharpebuilder, but hey don’t as I will – YET 🙂3. Where I’m at now, what’s in my way & what I need?
I have found a good plan, so I soon can begin to work with Character Animation, on the way I will.
I will begin to lean the program Adobes Audition, so I can work with mp3 files, and work with files on different channels, and find out how I change the errors I get when I change between my Sound card and Microphone.
I need much more to learn Pathfinder and Sharpebuilder in Illustrator.
See what happen on the Media Brothers on CAMP MEDIAS.4. What I’m going to do in the coming week:
Find to really good cartoons I can work on.
Learn to work with mp3 files and my sound card, so I don’t get errors.
Focus to only Work with Patfinder and Sharpebuilder in Illustrator the next 2 weeks to I have learned that two skills.
Say hello to the Media Brothers in the mountains.November 26, 2017 at 9:49 am #63540WEEK 47:
1: What I intended for accomplishing last week:
Find to really good cartoons I can work on.

Work with Pathfinder and Sharpebuilder in Illustrator the next 2 weeks so I have learned that two skills.

2. How things went — the good, bad & ugly:
Jubbi I find two cartoons I like, it was not an easy task because most of the cartoons only are to children. The funny was that I search a lot on the internet, and don’t find what I need, and then I found them on an e-learning program I have on my PC who is called Storyline 360. So now I have two cartoons where I can begin to build on them.
I have learned Audition to work with mp3 files and it works pretty well. The error I got came because, I shall go into the preferences files and there make the changes, so it works without errors.
In Illustrator, I have work with Pathfinder and Sharpebuilder, and it goes fine now, but it was not the easiest to learn.
I have been on Media Brothers and it seems funny and interesting, but the next week I don’t work in the mountains.3. Where I’m at now, what’s in my way & what I need?
I can see that Character Animator have some limits, so I can not import mp4 files, and it is not good to work with many different scenes. So I shall have a good video program to do that. I have Camtasia, but it can not save mp3 files only mp4a, and so I can’t import the audio files directly into Character animator. So I will drop Camtasia, and so I will learn Premiere Pro instead, so I have a good tool, to make things I will have.4. What I’m going to do in the coming week:
I will continue to learn Illustrator and I will also begin to Learn Premiere Pro.
I will start to learn to make lips to my two cartoons. When I have got the idea about how I dot it, I will begin to make the 4 x 12 psd layers and then make them synchronize with the sounds, so they look right. -
