@saramccann – What you’ve managed to do here is incredible. You’ve blown me away already – and there’s still more to come! Like @xbobby and @mars I love that the prisoner makes the key. Very subtle, very clever.
Regarding the OJ substitute, if “high in vitamin C” is the goal then you could choose another fruit juice (most have less than half as much vitamin C) and you could also suggest choosing one NOT from concentrate that’s fortified with vitamin C. Or maybe just eating an orange and getting the cream of tartar in another way. All that being said, don’t put any of this in your course materials. Just have an idea in the back of your head in case someone else is exceptional like @mars 🙂
Regarding the reward images – what if a) you create some kind of frame or outline to create some consistency between images from different places OR b) what if you use or incorporate video? Your video images are SO powerful, and I’m sure there’s some way to build consistency, even if the images are from different sites and spots.
I am so excited to see you in the final stretch!!!
July 12, 2018 at 2:14 am #78036Thank you so much everyone!
@mars I appreciate the heads up about the typos! They are sorted now. As for the blood pressure and orange juice, there is no need for you to take the orange juice for high blood pressure – just the cream of tartar powder mixed in water will do for you! 😉
@laurakoller thank you! That’s a good idea about the orange juice so that I can have that ready if the question pops up from future students – brilliant, thanks!
And as for the images suggestions – yes! Great idea, I think, as time ticks on, and I’m still no further forward with my reward images that this might be a way to go.
Very slow on progress this week due to the apparent circus that my household seems to have become! lol The desire to curl up into a ball is overwhelming but the dream of finishing this is stronger still – so the foetal position will have to wait for now! 😉 lol
July 12, 2018 at 3:23 am #78062OK. So, now that I have stepped away from the circus for an hour or so to catch up on GEA I don’t want to go back. So I’m going to stay, hiding in here and working on my ecourse and ignore everything else! lol
If the clowns ask where I am don’t tell them! 😉
The remaining content for Module 3 – The Prison guard, is short and simple. Only one instruction for students to follow on this module and that is the following, a practical exercise.
Whenever you smoke from here on in I want you to concentrate fully and completely on what you are doing. You need to become aware of yourself inhaling the smoke in to your lungs, everything you do, every action, every second, every thought, in order to smoke.
Think only about smoking when you are smoking. How does it feel as the smoke enters your mouth, how hard are you inhaling? Do you feel it moving down in to your lungs, the chemicals entering the bloodstream? How does it taste? How does it smell? It is very important that you think about nothing else whilst smoking. Concentrate only on the smoking – fully engage with it and be totally aware.
(Share your cigarette mindfulness in the community)?
he purpose of this exercise is to remove people from becoming hypnotised when smoking. Most people go inside themselves when they smoke, get lost in their thoughts, and aren’t even aware of the smoking they are doing. Bringing back their awareness to what they are doing has incredible effects. Most people who do this report that suddenly the cigarette tastes awful, they don’t like how it feels and tastes (even when beforehand they tell me they like the taste and smell of smoking) and it completely changes their perspective and makes them realise the enjoyment from smoking isn’t coming from the cigarette itself, but from their own mind, thoughts and relaxation.
Now I’m off to work on module 4 – The snake pit!

Interesting – it was the same for me when I smoke, no consciousness about what I was doing twenty years ago.
July 12, 2018 at 8:23 am #78076Woohoo! You’re doing great and I hope a few hours of creative work leaves you feeling refreshed and restored. Creative work can be like balm for the soul – that’s what it feels like for me anyway.
🙂
July 12, 2018 at 11:22 am #78080So stoked to see you hooked on your eCourse creative process. You are awesome @saramccann!!!!
Keep climbing. We believe in you!!!!!
July 12, 2018 at 12:11 pm #78082@saramccann YES WE DO !
July 13, 2018 at 12:04 am #78095Guys, I have been so close to tears of frustration and sadness all week but you have all just ended it on tears of happiness.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
July 13, 2018 at 8:37 pm #78152That makes my eyes watery now @saramccann
July 13, 2018 at 8:46 pm #78154@saramccann Say if we can help you on your journey. Maby we also have done some of the things that frustrate you?
You are not alone!
July 17, 2018 at 7:13 am #78306Thank you. Just knowing I am not alone is enough @xbobby and all of you here on the moutain, are so good at making that the case.
My frustrations are not ecourse related, more that I cannot pursue my ecourse stuff with the time and energy I would like in my current situation with my Dad. My time is divided more and more between looking after my parents, home and children. Though honestly, just having you guys here to share stuff with helps enormously and I am extremely grateful for that.
On Monday 23rd (next Monday) we are all off to USA Disney World. Ever since his grandkids were born my Dad has said ‘one day I want to take them all to Disney World’ and that ‘one day’ is now here as his health is deteriorating and there is no more time for waiting. Of course, I feel incredibly blessed to be able to have this ‘paid for’ holiday but it is also very bitter sweet as I know it is the last thing on my Dad’s bucket list (not sure how that will translate for you Bo – but here, we refer to a bucket list, as a list of things you want to do before you die)
I very much wanted to finish this ecourse before this holiday so that on my return I could set about launching and marketing to try and see a success from it to show Dad. With the best will in the world, that is looking unlikely now and that was the reason for a lot of my frustration last week. But…as we also say ‘it ‘aint over till the fat lady sings!’ So I’m still trying and aiming and giving it my best shot!
July 17, 2018 at 10:36 am #78311@saramccann Yes, you are right that journey can’t I help you with. But I know how impotent it is to do that. When my father dies thirty years ago in a traffic accident, I lean that we must do the thing when we still can, because there come a time when it is too late to do that. I was lucky at that time because I had a fantastic time with my father just one week before.
What you do with your father is more impotent right now than anything else. You can always make fantastic eCourse, but you can only say goodbye to your daddy one time, and I think that Disneyland is a fantastic way to do that. Good luck with that.July 17, 2018 at 11:36 am #78313Wow @saramccann, what a beautiful adventure you are about to embark on with your family. Regardless of how far you get, that sounds like an amazing reward for all your hard work and efforts you’ve put in. I can’t wait to see the final version of the course when you have it all uploaded and ready to go. Way to go on all of this. I have a similar trip with my Mom coming up in the summer time, which will also be bitter sweet given the shape of her health too. Such a gift, this life is.
July 18, 2018 at 3:33 pm #78335Ah, @xbobby and @bradleytmorris you are both so kind and sweet!
@xbobby, I am very sorry for the loss of your father. hearing your story reminds me that, although my own situation is understandably hard, I also feel very grateful that I have time with him before he goes. The chance to say and do things that I probably wouldn’t get if he was to die unexpectedly and for that I am extremely grateful. You have to look for the blessings in life and be thankful for them don’t you? Just like you have done by being thankful that you were able to have a fantastic week with your father before he passed. You have taught me a lot, and opened my eyes to my own blessings by sharing that with me. Thank you so much!
@bradleytmorris I am so very sorry to hear you are going through something similar with your own Mom. I wish you an incredibly happy and memorable trip when the summer comes and am sending you all hugs from across the ocean. You too, have helped me so much with your words. Particularly the last few, ‘such a gift, this life is’ That is so true. I think, the thing to remember with grief and sadness is that, you can only know such low’s because you have experienced such highs. You and I will only feel sorrow about our parents health, because of how much happiness and love they have brought to us in our lifetime and isn’t that a great thing really…when you think about it?
Not everyone is lucky enough to have parents that bring them great love and joy – so yes, this life is a gift.
Thank you, both of you. Your words put a lot of things in to perspective for me, and today I managed to achieve quite a lot on the back of the uplifting you gave me. I shall share more tomorrow hopefully.
July 18, 2018 at 6:56 pm #78356Thanks Sara.
I look forward to hearing where today took you. You must be so close to Launch Summit!!
