@jonathan – THANK YOU for your reply. I am now beaming from ear to ear 😀. As you’ve just demonstrated, the support on this mountain is incredible.  I would not be in this spot right now otherwise.  We all start in different spots and move at different paces, and yet it’s always encouraging when others can identify with the journey. So glad you’ve chosen to join us here!!!

Wow @laurakoller I skip off for a few weeks and come back to 100% Humanity. Brilliant. Great idea with the 100 pre sales. Love the way you’ve worked out that you don’t need to sell the whole course to everyone but they will probably end up buying it as they work through each module. Proud of you lady!

@mars – I’m happy to see you here!  I do like the concept of “100% Humanity in Healthcare” but I worry it’s a little extreme for some tastes.  Perhaps I can stick with something more middle of the road – something like “Energizing the Hearts of Healthcare Professionals” or “Win the Game of Patient Care” and then incorporate the 100% Humanity somewhere else within the course.  I don’t want to scare anyone away with my passion (which does happen sometimes).  Then again, maybe those scared-away people aren’t my true followers.  You folks are all so courageous, though.  You keep sticking around no matter what crazy ideas I propose 😉

I’ve drafted all the elements of the Lungs module!  Only then I decided to add one more segment.  If I want each module to be self-standing, then I need to round each one out with some kind of summary or conclusion.  So I do have a couple more things to add after all.  That being said – I walked myself through the course as it stands and I feel like it’s strong and cohesive.  I do still want to go back and revise some minor things, but the core of it is there.  Honestly, I’m amazed at what I’ve created!  This module was nowhere within my original vision and yet I know it’s the right place to start my course.  It’s the stepping stone to all the other modules.

Here is the Operation Card for the Lungs!  What do you think?

@mars – I appreciate your input on not Over-tweaking things.  I’m planning to have all the pieces ready for my birthday, which is now less than 2 weeks away!  Then – time for a test run with no more tweaking.

Sometimes you just have to close your eyes and take a plunge. Almost there. Yikes!!!

I’m getting really close to TERRIFIED territory.  Truth time is nearly here!  I’m drafting out the last chapter now and then I’ll decide what else needs to be there to make the course “good enough” – and then it’s launch time. Agh!!!!!</span>

I am so proud and impressed and filled to the brim with confidence considering your next big step… it feels like a leap I bet! And yet, it’s one definite and notable step in a long journey so far… that is only really getting started into the next chapter…

I also consider all of the health pros who will benefit and how many clients/patients of their you may alter the course of their experiences… even a 1 degree shift in long term trajectory is massive over time… and your work is that deep and profound and simple and compelling that I believe it will affect your students in ways they have been longing and thirsting to grow… the ripple is profound here for the impact this will make over time… I invite you to consider that when you have waves of fear well up… consider the impact ahead of you and the army of people behind you who have helped you get to this point to be graced to deliver the gifts you have to give… I suspect when you do you will feel a larger wave of emotion… relief, joy, courage, love, something far greater than fear…

Let us know how the next few steps feel and what emerges for you. It is thrilling to see you go through it!

@davidj – You have been such an incredible supporter!  You always seem to appear at the right moments, too!  And many times I think you’re more convinced of my success than I am. I SO SO appreciate that.

I love your point about the impact of a 1 degree change.  So fitting with my course content!  Little tweaks can snowball into something huge over time and multiply with every person who dares to practice from the heart, even just once or twice.

Today I’ve decided that I will “soft” launch the course to 10 close confidantes in early September.  I’ve selected 10 people – 5 dietitians who I trust will be honest and supportive, 4 professionals in a variety of healthcare roles (including veterinarian and financial coordinator) and my sister who works in IT. Then I can launch to my email list (over 100. If I get 10 takers that would be great!!!). And – at the moment – that’s as far ahead as I need to and dare to think about.

Just having that plan has decreased my stress response.  I have bigger visions, and yet I can only eat an elephant one bite at a time (thanks @mars for that metaphor)

So, dear friends, thank you for believing in me!!!  It really does make a difference.

I’ve started drafting the last chapter.  Once that’s complete, then I’ll be ready to take the next step.  Overall, the content looks solid, the presentation is polished, and I’m nearly ready for the first rotation of surgical residents!!!
