Up for feedback and debate are my current title and tagline ideas.
As a reminder, my course is for new moms in the postpartum period to teach them how to recover and find vitality in body and soul and give their babies the most magical and nourishing beginnings possible, all while doing this in line with their soul’s purpose and karmic calling to be mothers to “star babies.”
My theme is an elemental virtual spa journey.
Title Ideas:
New-Mama Goddess
New-Mama, Soul-Baby
New Moon MamaTagline ideas:
1. a moon-cycle healing immersion for renewal, confidence and magical beginnings in motherhood
2. a 28-day motherhood initiation, soul-deepening and body-recovery retreat
3. jumpstart your earth mama, nurture your star baby, and renew your body after birth
4. holistic healing for mama, magical beginning for babyAny, all, none of these resonate, make sense, say all the things they need to say? Thanks oh so much!
March 3, 2016 at 8:54 am #18905I love New Moon Mama! This is so needed! Wish I had your course after I had my last baby, lol.
March 3, 2016 at 4:53 pm #18922I think there’s a tagline somewhere in the combination of 1. and 2.
A rough first cut – “a 28 day body renewing, soul-deepening immersion into the magical beginnings of motherhood with your star baby.”
March 11, 2016 at 6:23 pm #19591You are right, @lorrainewatson, there is a tagline somewhere in the recombining of the current taglines. I love what you’ve come up with, but still trying to refine it to be shorter.
For now, I’m tentatively settling on:
Moon Spa for the New Mama or
New Moon Mama or
Moon Mama, Star Baby: a 28-day, body-and-soul-renewing immersion into the magical beginnings of motherhoodI’m actually thinking of buying the domain name, CallinginYourSoulBaby.com where I will place all the related courses from preconception to postpartum, the culmination of which will eventually be 12 months worth of courses for each stage of the journey.
I’m gonna let this stew and sally forth before I get too stuck in this lesson.
@bradleytmorris @andyfreist I know you aren’t my target market, but got any thoughts?
March 11, 2016 at 6:37 pm #19601If this is part of a series, would it be helpful to include a specific reference to the time period this applies to, ie after birth of the star baby. Beginnings of motherhood could be related / interpreted as part of the first several months. Just a thought.
March 11, 2016 at 7:16 pm #19605@lorrainewatson It’s part of a series, but it’s actually the last part. It starts with before conception, then moves into pregnancy, and finally postpartum. This was just the one that scored the most points in the decision spreadsheet, so there ya go. The course is for anyone in the first two years of motherhood, so the best time reference I could supply was New Mama (postpartum would also work, but isn’t as lovely sounding). Hope that makes sense.
March 11, 2016 at 8:56 pm #19617Got it. There might be something in this being the “wrap up” or last part that bookends the experience to include. Or not.
I think New Mama works both as a reference to a new mom as well as a re-newed mom. In “Moon Mama, Star Baby: a 28-day, body-and-soul-renewing immersion into the magical beginnings of motherhood” a different word than “beginnings” could be used. Maybe “first years” or “first months”? Just a thought.
March 14, 2016 at 6:08 pm #19709Love seeing the clarity come to life with this @sssheely!
My favourites are:
New Moon Mama (.com)
A 28-day, body-and-soul-renewing virtual retreat for new mamas.
A 28-day, body-and-soul-renewing immersion into the magical journey of being a mamaAugust 23, 2016 at 9:35 am #29693Hey Stephanie, how’s your mama course coming along. Anything we can do to help!? Would love an update 😀
October 2, 2016 at 2:46 pm #30593Whoa, thanks for checking in. I can’t believe I just now saw this. I promise I’m still here, but I’m just taking FOREVER to complete the storyboarding and outlining section after taking half of forever on the moodboard. Not much opportunity to come to the forums, since my biggest priority is working on the actual course right now, and my biz-alotted time is much scarcer these days than it was in the beginning. My baby is 14 months now, which means she needs more attention and is basically impossible to use the computer around. Also, life stuff is catching up, too. But I’m still slooowly plugging away. Gonna move on to shot breakdowns today. Still very invested in the course and can’t wait to spend more time with it when I’m able to free some up in the future.
