So, I just started Checkpoint 10 – Saless and the question about Value got me thinking.  Why am I taking this course?  What VALUE do I see in it?  After all, I own a Digital Marketing Agency, therefore I build funnels, automations, marketing campaigns for a living.  So, it’s most definitively not the technology.

So I asked myself, could it be the actual course creation?  No, not really.  I have 4 very successful courses in 9 different platforms.  Even though, it’s good to see different perspectives, course creation is not an unknown to me.  So, it’s most definitively not the storyboarding, scripting, or video creation.

So, why do I keep coming back? I asked myself.  What is the value this eCourse offers that brings me back day after day?  I have not missed a single day since I joined this course…and it finally hit me.  Even though @bradleytmorris and @andyfreist have said it a hundred times, it just dawn on me.  The real value of this eCourse is its COMMUNITY and the STORY TELLING.  The ability to bounce ideas, share frustrations (mine and others) or simply write out-loud thoughts like this one and hear other people’s feedback. To immerse ourselves in a world where we become part without really being there.

Thank you @andyfreist and thank you @bradleytmorris you just helped me discover the missing link…and I thought it was all about technology, duh!

haha, I love reading this. I appreciate your view very much.

So grateful you’re loving the community here Jackie and that it’s what keeps you coming back.

How can you duplicate the essence of this tribe and recreate it for the specific people you’re setting out to serve?

Thank you for sharing your epiphany!

It’s interesting that you ask that question @bradleytmorris because I have decided to completely revamp my site and make the community the center of our Universe, rather than the courses themselves.  This will delay things a bit, but I think the end result will be incredible.  As a matter of fact, I even changed my site’s motto to “A Community for Wealth and Financial Freedom for Women.”  And I am not just changing the motto, but the entire digital structure of the site.  Your course has been pivotal in finding the true meaning of what I am trying to accomplish and for that, I thank you both very much.

Jackie, I agree 100% with your statement about the value of this course being community and story telling. I took nearly a week away, and I feel like I am missing my online community that have been so helpful for me.  I want to give back! This feels totally different than the more individualized courses out there; even those with forums. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

So stoked ya’ll are feeling the vibe here at the campfire. Our intention was to create a self supporting community, where the participants were the true coaches, guides, partners and supporters of the courses being created and launched here. It’s really exciting for us to get to bare witness to that happening here   🙂

    Thanks for sharing!
