I’m working on the Who in Architekt Forest and their motivation. My course will be a part of a series in The Happy Depressive. I believe their motivation in life is that they are in so much emotional pain that they can’t take it anymore. Is that what I’m looking for or is that the same as what is motivating them to change right now?
Am I looking for more like, a personality indicator there?
If I look at what motivates me in life, it is to live a meaningful life and experience love and acceptance of self and others. If I look at what motivates me when I am depressed, it is saving my life and stopping the pain. The motivators listed of “fun, money, service, etc” just didn’t jog a lot for me. Do I just base it on myself and my broader motivations? ie. Freedom, meaning, love, belonging, comfort, etc?
What Andy says is spot on. Another place to look at is to assess ALL The people you’ve already worked with and try to flush out the common qualities they all possess.
Perfect, I am basically designing thus for myself, so I guess I should stop trying to read the mind of some imaginary person I don’t know! LOL. thank you!
