I’ve written a simple manifesto. Rather different to my usual loquaciousness.

    Hopefully that will work.

This is great. I love the look of the file too. What did you make that document with @mars?

Thank you @bradleytmorris. I’m brimming with pride at your praise.

I used http://www.canva.com It’s free. I was looking for a shopping list, but found the menu templates. So I simply made it my own. I’ve been playing with it for the past couple of weeks after my mentor suggested it to me (she knows that I like to play with new toys). There are a lot of free templates and some that you can pay for as well.

Canva is so cool.  I use it a lot for graphics creation.   Your manifesto is visually awesome and I can tell that you really thought through what you wanted to express.  When I had my kids, I wasn’t aware of the existence of doulas.  I think it is really great that you are spreading the word so that people have options.

Thank you @kari I love Canva.

I’m running a Reproductive Justice Retreat next November. I keep making ‘magazines’ to share to tell people about it.

It’s going to be a late night. Greys and Scandal. The writing is waiting!

Okay. 866 words today. I’m trying to just write things that I think about twin birth and pregnancy. I’m not worrying about the flow or how it will look when it is in the book. I am simply writing the content. What was it one of the gorgeous mountaineers said, via a quote, You can edit a bad page, you can’t edit a blank one. So here are today’s stats. I used to think that more is more, but actually less really is more. I’m averaging 830 words each day, which is not bad as the challenge is 500+ and the website is 750 words. It feels like 830ish is where I’m meant to be. I have a feeling that a few days will greatly surpass that number, but if that doesn’t happen, I’m good with it.

And now I have a past client visit in the morning, then an interview with a mother whose baby died. Her story will probably be source of my writing tomorrow.

Both Greys and Scandal were fabulous. And so to bed! I’ll spend more time on the mountain soon. Just catching up on the work that I couldn’t do whilst I was running my course. Buonanotte.

Wow @mars, you are doing such beautiful work. I’m so happy that you’re getting into the flow of inspiration and writing your stories out (and other people’s stories). When you talk, people listen. So talk on sister!!
