Loving the process, had to take last weekend off as I was busy with travel and work, and feeling so inspired to create on this front…!

My course idea is called My Mama Magic, sharing your soul essence with your family and the world (tagline is still open for refinement, i’m not loving the my and your contrast, title is pretty set)

As I watched your “journey” video I was actually totally inspired to go deeper into my own creative process and create a theme, which at first I thought would be too over the top or not what my clients would be into. Funny, because I am totally into the theme of this course! I am getting clearer ideas on how to bring that theme through without it being too cheesy or over the top.

As the title is magic, the idea came to base it around… Magic! Not sure why it took me so long to pick up on that one lol. Magic of the earth and cosmos, subtle, powerful, and beautiful. I will release each unit on the full and new moons, and bring in the astrology of that particular cycle. The theme of planting seeds and harvesting fruits will run throughout, and the idea of allies that we have in the seen and unseen worlds. Plants, animals, stones, stars, guides, cultures, sisters, and selves.

This process is really about creativity, removing all the blocks to that creativity and stepping into the power to shape our world and experiences through specific tools and teachings. The world needs mamas who are making magic for themselves and with their children! The first unit will be all about “meeting the magician” or the future self living the life of her dreams, sort of a priestess avatar who can live in the mundane and higher realms simultaneously, and how does that feel and what does that look like for each woman. Each unit will bring the women on a mini transformation, and at the end of each she will receive a gift, both a physical object that she creates or receives, as well as a more intangible “magic power” that will help her to step into her radiant mama self. To receive the gifts she must first share with the group in some way… The culmination will be sharing our gifts in the greater community through service on some level.

I have fine tuned some of my chapters/descriptions below, and also am feeling inspired to bring in COLLABORATION into each unit, inviting a guest speaker/writer each time.

I like the idea of creating a rhythmic framework, and would like to include the following elements in each unit – (sorry about the wierd formating from cutting and pasting) Let me know what you think!
    dance/movement/breath
    meditation/intention
    astrology
    short video
    guest speaker
    PDF/printable
    art project
    journal exercise
    share in community

I’m feeling to release one unit each new and full moon, which would give them two weeks to digest and work with all of the info, and would make the course 16 weeks long. Maybe too long..? Also thinking about creating level two courses for some of these topics, there is a lot to bring in…

    1) vision  –  What is my ultimate vision of my life as a mother? what am i wearing, eating, doing in a typical day? who are my friends? What role does my partner have? Etc… CREATE JOURNAL

    2) Heal – ancestral healing, lineage clearing, ho’o ponopono with our own mothers, parents, identifying and releasing core wounds and also any previous pregnancies that were not full term. Cord cutting. Womb wisdom, moon cycles…
         generational family patterns

    3) Cleanse  – Home, body, mind, organizing and decluttering, beautifying, simplifying</i></div>

    4) love self – art and craft projects, meditations, affirmations,, involving all of the senses, RITUAL – creating a rhythmic framework

    5) connect – Sacred sexuality, jade egg, yoni steam, breast massage, deepening with self and partner

    6) Nourish – gentle parenting practices, recipes, simple crafts and songs to do with the children, This Is My Wish For You

    7) dream – Raising conscious leaders, taking our children through the process of self discovery, vision board together, guided exercises to connect mama and child in a bigger vision </i></div>

    8) Serve – BEing in the greater world – sacred service, entrepreneurship, connection to other mothers</i></div>

There are all kinds of magic, and I like the types you are associating with your course. I think your subtitle could be simply something like

    Sharing Your Soul Essence

I “get” your wanting the my/your dichotomy, but I’m sticking a bit on which “voice” is speaking: there is a shift in voice between title and subtitle because of the pronoun change. That’s a confusion in where I, as reader, put my identity when I meet your course title.

    Perhaps:

Mama Magic: Sharing Your Soul Essence

(the “my” is implied: any “mama” will identify that part of the title as a “my,” but will also be offered a peek into what the course will offer)

    Thanks deb!

i must by have been clear in what I wrote, actually I am wanting to shift away from that pronoun dichotomy. My will stay, your is what I’m looking to shift. Still a work in progress 💗

Shamama! Meeting the magician – loooove this. Love how you’ve “gamified” this, too – getting a magic power at the completion of a transformation is such fun. Everything fits perfectly into your theme. It seems you’ve been divinely inspired 🙂

    Some tagline ideas:

Putting my soul essence to work in the world

My soul, my family, my world – my vision

Soul-infused family living to change the world

Aloha, Sarah…I love your new tag line “My Soul, My Family, My Vision, My World.” It also occurred to me that you could use “we” instead of “you” in your original tag line. I love the magic theme, and the use of astrology. I am also considering some guest speakers in my course and was thinking of little mini home self Ayurvedic spa-day bonuses at the end of each challenge they complete, but I really like that you tied that to participation. This is always an issue in e-course discussions, getting everyone involved, and especially with courses like yours and mine, it is imperative for self-growth that the women share and give support. I’m excited that you are on this journey, Magic Mama:)

I really like where this is headed, though its still very vague. I really want to feel a potent “BAM there it is” type energy when I see/hear someones name/tagline.

Currently, its not totally clear exactly what the course is about.

I like Mama Magic – but you need a reaaaaally good tagline to bring it home and explain exactly what this is about…

Sorry to be the party pooper, but apparently thats in my job description 😉

Instead of using vague words like soul essence, vision, etc etc etc in the tagline – try to come up with a few that are super direct, plain jane language that unmistakably explains it.. Once you get that down, you can spice it up a bit with some fun language…

Hopefully Im not coming across as being too harsh.. I just see an opportunity for you to try a few more things which may provide some insights and help you land your HECK YES tagline 🙂

Looking awesome @blissmother! Loving what you’ve put together here. Looking at the exercises you’re planning, this is going to be such a valuable course for mama’s.

I’m going to echo what @andyfreist said about the tagline. It didn’t fully sell me. It’s nice, but it doesn’t have the bam effect. You want that tagline to speak of the transformation so that it grabs your people and pulls them in to explore deeper.

What is the tangible transformation you’re going for with this course and how can you work it into a potent, to the point tagline?

    you’re doing great!
