To make an uber long story short, almost two years ago, I took the leap, left a successful albeit soul sucking career, and started my own website/blog/business. I’m a teacher by training and e-courses were part of my vision. It’s been a long haul and I’d be lying if I said the money has been good thus far. It’s been a struggle, but worth every sacrifice and know I’m on the right path. Although I already have one e-course, I knew I had so much more to learn. I feel proud of my existing course, but I know I can make something even more exciting, engaging, meaningful and marketable. Enter, The Great e-Course Adventure 🙂
So, I’m currently living the dream in that I have more freedom in my day to day schedule, I no longer have a boss answer to, I am doing work that feels truly meaningful and helpful, and I have more time to be a fully engaged parent and spouse. This is all insanely awesome and most days, I can’t believe how far I’ve come. BUT, I definitely still have a ways to go. I know this journey is far from over. I have tons more to learn, to give, and to experience and this adventure feels so right as the next step!November 21, 2016 at 11:35 am #32067

This is so awsome Lara. Congratulations on taking the leap in your life. It’s powerful to commit to your own ULTIMATE VISION. And you did it. That’s honestly the hardest step.
I’d love to see your previous eCourse.
Is your journey up the mountain this time going to be to improve that course or to make a completely different one?
Thank you for your share.November 21, 2016 at 1:06 pm #32074

Yay! Way to LEAP! It’s so worth it isn’t it? Life’s way too short to stay in ‘soul sucking’ when we can be in ‘soul enhancing’ places. Grateful you’re here! It definitely is a journey, but one totally worth it! That fully engaged part with loved ones is huge!! Plus by leaping and being present those in and of themselves are ‘courses’ people see through you (family and friends…) and it inspires them (to follow their hearts and to be more present too). Way to live by example. Such gifts! Excited you listened to your calling, there are so many more people you will serve and hearts you will touch!November 24, 2016 at 8:47 am #32164
In answer to your question, my plan this time was to create a whole new course and then likely tweak my existing one (Kick Fear To The Curb) later, based on what I learn from my trip up the mountain.
I was trying to figure out how to share my existing course with you as it’s not currently enrolling. I decided to copy the course (a cool feature in Ruzuku) and make an open access session for people like you and Andy or anyone else who wants to take a look. Normally, it’s set up so that lessons are sent out to students on a set schedule, but for the purpose of sharing it and getting any feedback you might offer, I set it up so you have access to all of the lessons at once.
At present, I have the course priced at $120 CDN + HST and will run the 3rd session in the new year. In the interest of sharing it with anyone in this group who might be interested or willing to offer feedback, you can get free access to the ‘Beta Tester’ session I set up, right here: https://app.ruzuku.com/courses/18574/enroll
