    Hi everyone,
    Progress Log #1:

I haven’t done progress logs yet because I have been delivering an online program until about 15 days ago, so was doing this “on the side”.

I’m now focusing on this mainly, but for the past few weeks I’ve also had to catch up on the many things that were on hold. I also work at home and have 2 teens. So my time easily gets infringed upon. Honestly the very piecemeal thing is wearing me down, cuz it’s hard to see progress. I actually had my first “throw in the towel” moment today… feeling like “what’s the purpose?”–especially in the context of the deep grief I feel for our planet–did you see that there are icebergs in Guyana and the Great Barrier Reef is bleaching? OMG.

And THEN I remember that this fierce love for all life on this planet is why I’m not in a cubicle just making money to support my family’s consumption. On the contrary! We gotta mobilize change agents to shift culture fast! I wanna be part of that! And it has to make sense, cuz at the same time, I’m under financial pressure to bring in support for my family, so it’s gotta be SMART. Let’s do this THANG!

Bradley and Andy, you’ll be proud to know that I’m going AWAY this weekend. Not sure where, as long as it has a bed, a desk, internet access, and quiet so I can spend Friday-Sunday just focusing on this e-course baby and the wider strategy for my biz.

Connecting with my buddy Inga, tomorrow will also be helpful. And more women entrepreneurs on Wed night.

Excited for the weekend. Feels like I’ve been incubating for a long time and there will a lot hatching. Thanks for listening, ya’ll!

    Hugs along the path.

Amazing @karryn!!! What a great first Progress Log report.

I know what you mean about throwing in the towel. I can’t count the number of times I have seriously pondered that, but then I think about: “Well, what if these are my final days on Earth. Would I want to spend them doing my best to make the world more awesome or do I wanna spend them fulfilling somebody else’s dream?” That usually wakes me up and forces me to move forward.

You have an awesome thing going, so when in doubt, remember that. There are people waiting for you to help them. So dig deep and go for it!

Stoked to hear how your weekend goes. What a gift you’re giving yourself. Dedicated work retreats like that can help you cover a lot of ground on the mountain!!

It’s Day 2 of my retreat. The FINAL day. How to sum it up in one word.
    MESSY

Getting it all unpacked from all the corners of my mind and office meant it all had to spin up way bigger and be total chaos.
I grounded myself out the outset by setting intention, meditating, music, candles, aromatherapy, and dedicating the merit of my work to service of Beloved Community (MLK, Jr thanks for this transformational term)

I’ve got a draft of My Thrivelihoods Manifesto.
Holy Smokes! This is a new uplevel in saying who I am and what I’m about. Yikes and HECK YEAH.

I’ve got a great sticky wall of the ecourse bones. Now giving flesh to the bones. I can totally see how this will offer so much more value to my clients and take the transformation to a new level. Hope to say soon “IT’S ALIVE”

When in doubt, I’m telling myself “Courage Mate!”

Oh and reworked through a ton of the ecourse adding and changing. And started a cost tracking excel doc so I know how much this baby’s gonna require as an investment. Wanna do a ROI at some time too. Any other numbers geeks out there? I’m re-learning this so would love tips from pros.

Still tweaking but this baby is getting birthed.

    Hi Bradley,

Thanks for checking in. As you know, I had to rebrand, so Andy has been working on my new regenepreneurs.com website. It’s getting pretty awesome and close to going live. I just finished the draft of the Manifest-o today, you can check it out and comment here, if you wish. First aims will be to make a landing page for the ecourse, and start blogging to drive traffic.

Due to the circumstances that made the rebrand necessary, I “ran out of runway” i.e., cash, and had to find a bridge job. I got an awesome part-time one, which is great, and is taking more than 15 hours per week right now.  I’m also in a women’s entrepreneurship accelerator course that is a big deal regionally.  All that, combined with my almost over semester, means I’m aiming for more time to work on my biz after the  first week of Oct.  I’m giving the keynote speech at the Women, Food and Ag Network in early Nov on “Co-Creating Our Regenerative Future: Why Women? Why Permaculture? Why Now?” Yikes and Yess!  That’s one of the blog posts I want to broadcast and host on my new website (thanks Andy!)

I really like the idea of getting my ecourse launched by the first of the year. Here’s an audacious plan:

The rest of Sept, beta test and fine tune website, get landing pages done. Start blogging at least weekly. Invite old list to new list.

In October, schedule guests for my next Interview Series, and start broadcasting that.

November, start marketing Pathfinder E-course and enroll it by end of Nov.

    December 15 Ecourse starts.

    Take care,

    Karryn

Wow, sounds like everything is on track with you. Love the sounds of where things are going. The link to your new site isn’t working, but can’t wait to check it out.

Glad to hear you’re ploughing forward. Like good permaculture, I’m sure everything will grow in it’s perfect timing and order, just the way nature intended it   🙂

Your timeline sounds about right. Keep charging up the mountain and if you need to adjust,t hen you can. No sense letting the gas off the pedal though   😀

Excited to see everything come to life!

    Nice to hear from you.
