    1. Spent all day editing. 1st load to YouTube–no sound. 2nd–picture all grainy. 2. Transitions no good, but enough was enough. 3. Why does the light change? Window with light blocking drapes was behind camera, and studio lights stationary. So was camera. When I moved and camera adjusted, lighting changed? How do I stop this–except never move. 4. WAAAAAAAY TOOOOOO LOOOOONG – I think 5 min.+ I know that. If any body wants to glance at this, I posted some topic time markers. 5. Sound is much better this time–at least on my computer. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ 5. ๐ŸŽ‰ ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰–got it done!!!!!!!

Hi Sharon! Just watched your video intro and found you to be delightful!! First of all, I think you are being waaay to hard on yourself! The text in the video that pointed viewers to move forward to skip what they might find boring etc..was SO not needed! There will always be people that are not interested in what you have to say, let them go (weed them out…they are not your peeps!) But, there will always be people that will relate to everything you say and hang on your every word! I’m just saying that you should be you and there is no need to apologize for who you are.

As far as lighting goes…I think it looked good. I do know that if you have your camera set to auto focus, it will re-focus everytime you move and mess with the lighting. Not positive here (and maybe someone else can chime in) but if you take it out of auto focus and just set it and forget it by manually focusing before you start, you won’t get those camera “adjustments”

i also thought the sound was fine and great job on all of your editing! ๐Ÿ˜Š

SuZen Marie, thanks so much for your feedback and comments! I put those time markers in there because I have repeatedly heard–and think it is basically true–that anything over 2 minutes is an instant turn off. That said, I really appreciate your stand!

Thanks also for that tip about the lighting. Wow, simple fixes really are, well–simple–if you know what to do. I think that is exactly what the problem has been.

I value what you have said and am looking forward to participating in your trek up this mountain.

    Hey Sharyn,

Wanted to check in and see how you’ve been doing since your first webinar? What’s next for you on this wild journey?

    Can’t wait to hear ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Brad–thanks for checking in.

Actually 2 days after the webinar I flew to help my mother begin receiving assisted living. She has pretty advanced dementia–not so much that she doesn’t know anyone. Just enough to make handling her affairs an ordeal. I just returned and am in the process of recovering my own equilibrium and enthusiasm for the future back. I’m thinking that I would like to try my hand at creating a next level course–something like I had thought to do in the beginning. 6 weeks intro to cabalistically inspired tarot for spiritual discernment and alchemical transformation. Only a little juicer than that title sounds. LOL.

Doing the webinar was an important milestone and really big accomplishment for me. That “simple” technology kicked my butt, but I still managed to push through and get the thing done. That said, I am thinking webinars–at least for now–are not my thing. Not the slide presentation kind, anyway. I much prefer more personal contact. So will be exploring that appear.in option you mentioned and creating a course outline. Once I get my mojo back, will give a go at live streaming again to see if I can get a broader audience.

I really can’t thank you and Andy enough for your wonderful coaching–insightful, honest, and supportive. After I have had a chance to collect my thoughts again, perhaps consider how to edit that webinar and where I might put it to use, I will be back in touch to schedule my last coaching session.

Sending love from the mountain for the transition with your mother.

Glad you’re feeling inspired to build your bigger course again.

All you can do is try these ideas and see if they fit. When they do, then that’s when you GO!

You’re so welcome. It’s a pleasure to support you.

    Looking forward to sesh 3!

Hi, Sharyn – Enjoyed watching your video; I liked the text overlay thing–didn’t need the “skip ahead to this topic” time-stamp, necessarily, but I like the idea of the placards, and I liked the one that said “what she’s trying to say is a bridge…” etc. i.e., useful content that summarized that bit of the video; gave me 2 ways of receiving the info without belaboring the message.

Aloha Sharyn! Your energy just shines through in this! Such a beautiful soul!! ‘Inner Fire’ ‘The School of Practical Mystery’ LOVE it! Your little side sayings made me smile. I enjoyed the whole intro! (And you look way younger than you say!) Happy belated birthday, and love and prayers to you and your mom. I look forward to seeing you on the mountain.
