Script to Chapter 4.6. Do what you like to do.

Welcome to Stress News. My name is Samantha Emerson, and my colleague is Peter Easton.
We have Energy adviser Jonathan Harper in the studio. He will tell us about how we can get more energy in our daily life. Today he will look at how we can be better to do “what we like to do” when we have stress.
Jonathan, why is it essential to do that?
When we have stress, we often forget to do what we like to do. And therefore it is essential to do it. Because when we do that, we become more satisfied with the life we live.
But it is not hard to do that when we have stress?
    Yes, it can be difficult.
Why is it difficult for us to do that?
We focus more on all the things we need to reach and forget to do what we like to do?
What happens when we forget to do it?
So will our life become more dark and boring, and we also begin to lose our energy?
How did we start to do the good things we like?
We can begin to write a list of all the good things we would like to do. After that, we hang up the list where we can see it every day.
What must we do when we hang up the list?
Decide to do one thing every day on this list. If we can do two things on a day, it is also okay.
Remember to praise every time we have done a good thing on that list.
What happens when we begin to do the good things we like to do?
We forget time and place, and we are more satisfied with the life we live.
So we need to do more of the good things in our life?
Yes, the more good things we do, the more satisfied we become.
What do we do, if we are in doubt, about what good things we like to do?
    I can recommend two methods:
Let us say that we cannot write anything on this list. Then we hang up a blank list and make sure that there is a pencil with the list. When we so get an idea, we write it down on the list.
Why is it a good idea to do it in that way?
Some people block when they must do a particular thing on a specific time. This method allows us to write down our ideas when they came to us.
    What is the second method?
The second method I call “back to the childhood.” Here we get inspiration from our childhood, and what we like to do when we were a child or a teenager.
    How did we do that?
We start to write about all the things we like to do when we were a child or a teenager.
Why write we down the things from our childhood?
Often we had forgotten the things we liked to do when we were a child or teenager. But when we begin to write the list, we find out that there are things that we still would like to do. And sometimes we can get an inspiration to do new things we love to do.
Can you give me an example on that?
I found out that I love to play chess when I was a child. I also found out that I liked to write poems and made collages. And I found out that I loved things I never had to try before.
So that you say is when we look back to our childhood we can get inspiration to what we like to do?
    Yes, precisely.
So with these different methods, it becomes easier to find out what we want.
Yes, I can only recommend doing it.
I will go home and make this list.
    I will do that too.
Jonathan, do you have questions for those who have followed this TV broadcast today?
    Yes, I have:
Are you okay to do the things you like?
Will you try to be better?
When do you want to start?

Script to Chapter 5.1. Ending and resume.

Welcome to the last day with Stress News. My name is Samantha Emerson, and my colleague is Peter Easton.
In our last broadcast, we will have a concluding talk with all them we have interviewed here in Stress News.
First, we have Bobby here in the studio. He is the man who had made this eCourse based on his experience with stress.
Bobby, can you tell us what is the most important you have learned about stress?
It is the actions I do every day to be less stressed that help me to reach my goal.
So it is not all the word about stress that helps you?
No, the word is okay, but the action is best.
How do we know if it is the right action we do?
If you experience less stress with the actions you make, you do it right.
Thanks for your word Bobby, and thanks for the eCourse you have shared with us.
The next we have in the studio is the Stress teacher Sarah Anderson.
Sarah, will you say a few words about what is essential for you about stress?
For me, it is essential to understand why stress arises and what we can do when we are too stressed.
Is there another thing you think also is essential?
Yes, that we understand which stress level we are on.
    Why is that important?
When we know our stress level, it is much easier to see if we must do something with our stress.
Thanks for your inspiring words Stress teacher, Sarah Anderson.
The next we have in the studio is the Stress Coach Natalie Frost.
Natalie, if you will say a few words about what is the most important for you about stress?
It is essential that we recognize when we are too stressed, so we can begin to do something about our stress.
Is there another thing you think also is essential?
It is Alpha and Omega that we decided to take action. And we continue this action until we have to get our goal.
Thanks for your words Stress Coach Natalie Frost.
The last we have in the studio is the Energy adviser Jonathan Harper.
Jonathan, if you will say a few words about what is the most important for you about stress?
For me it is essential that we have enough energy, so we more natural can reach our goal to be less stressed.
Can you give us a metaphor for that process?
We can compare it with clamber to the top of a high mountain. If we do not have enough energy, it will be quite challenging to getting up to the top.
So what you say is that we easier can get our goal to be less stressed when we have enough energy?
    Yes, exactly.
Thanks, Energy adviser Jonathan Harper. It had been fantastic to have you here.
Here at the end of the eCourse, we have an important message.
You are welcome to retake this free eCourse. My experience is that people learn new things every time they take this eCourse.
See you soon on http://www.website.com. If one of your friends has stress, then tell them about this site. So they can get some inspiration to what they can do about their stress.
