This challenge is perfectly timed! In this month I’ll have to write the theoretical part of my thesis. Also I want to write a couple of other stuff: blog posts, a missing module, tutorials.
I think I’ll set up a Google Doc with all the possible topics and then each day choose whether I want to continue a piece or pick something new from the list.

I love your profile name. What does it refer to… being unbreakable?

About your writing challenge… Oj, thesis! I nearly broke my brain trying to finish mine years ago and especially found it hard to do the theoretical part where I had to quote some brainic every time I wanted to say something new, no matter how common sense and reasonable it was. : ) I wish you ease and joy in that process and hopeful some closure!

As far as writing blogs and tutorials, etc… I am looking forward to see what you share here!

    All the best!

Hi @davidj, thank you for your comment!
My username comes from my email address. I had issues with my credit card so Bradley had to manually create a trail pass for me and so he ‘assigned’ me this user name.

Actually I’m not too worried about the thesis writing since the most work is already done (my ecourse is my master thesis, you can check my progress log if you’re interested in reading what it’s about :)). My partner and I created a structure today and I think it will be fun. It will be more like a documentation of what we have done with a tiny bit of theoretical background. Fortunately it’s not a real scientific research project. (I know the quotes struggle, too, haha)

@wewontbreak – So glad to see you joining the challenge this month!  I look forward to seeing/reading about all your progress.  I love the fact that your thesis plays into your course content.  That’s smart thinking!!!!

    Thank you @mars, @laurakoller and @bobbiejo!
    I’m feeling very inspired.

So that’s my plan: yesterday I started a blog post for my current project (erzähl davon).
Today I created a skript and google slides for a workshop I held tonight (here’s the proof, hehe)
Tomorrow I’ll finish the blog post.
    Next writing tasks:

    • Write a 2 page “reflexion report” for uni about my prior project (SiI, the German teaching blog I told you about on the call). That will hopefully serve as an outline for my story. I still have to think about the format.*
    • Write a blog post about trello for organizing NGO work
    • Write some lessons for the Social Media module
    • Start writing for the master thesis
    • write an E-Mail to my SiI email list.. first after a very long summer/fall break
    • write a couple blog posts and a LOT of book reviews for SiI 🙁

*this probably won’t count for the challenge, but I don’t want to separate the tasks yet.

I wish you a lot of luck with your projects.

Thats so nice of you, @saramccann, thank you!

Today’s update: I published the article I wrote yesterday (1200 words, whoop whoop!).

Today I started writing this reflexion report I mentioned. I’m not totally sure about content and structure. I just startet with the areas I knew I could say something about. I’m at 666 words now and I think I’ll see that as a sign to end it for today. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow. My best writing times are in the morning and in the evening. Around 3 pm my biorhythm is at its lowest point.

So, Update: Yesterday I finished my report (528 words). I’ll be able to use it as a base for my story, but I want to talk about it with a friend before I start writing that.

Today I wrote a blog post about batching (1177 words) and it’s only noon 🙂
