1. Name: Stefan Morales
2. What I Do (150 characters): I work for the Province of British Columbia in Canada now, I used to do a lot of non-profit and social enterprise stuff before then, and before then I worked in radio and volunteered for arts organizations. For the past 8 months I’ve been doing a side hustle with Working Together, and aim to create an eCourse and other online offerings for the world. In a nutshell do a lot of group facilitation and creative problem solving.
3. Kind of eCourse I’m excited to make (150 characters): I want to make a course where working professionals, who are interested in innovative new approaches to management, team building, and general awesomeness delivery, will learn design thinking and other Social Innovation methods/tools and will get a community and a space to practice them in.
4. What I am looking for in an Adventure Buddy (150 characters): I am looking for an adventure buddy who will hold me accountable to the climb every week, share war stories with me, and of course, be willing to give and take constructive feedback along the journey.
5. If you really knew me, you’d know that(150 characters) my goal for developing an eCourse is to be able to have a mobile lifestyle so that we can “road school” our two kids and expose our whole family to the “university of life”.
I think we would be a great match. I have several years of experience in the business world so I have lots of ideas about how to be more innovative. I love the idea behind your course, the lack of flexibility and innovation was one of the reasons why I left the so I think you’ll be providing really valuable skills and tools.
Thanks @bryancassidy! We should setup a skype date. I’ll PM you!
Hey Stefan, Bryan had to step off the mountain for a few months to do some other work. He will be back. In the meantime, you may wanna hunt for another buddy.
How’s things going in your process? Would love an update!
Hey Bradley! I’m back in the saddle and on the mountain after about 3 weeks of vacation. I don’t have an accountability buddy yet and Bryan ended up teaming up with someone who has more background in the eCourse he’s creating. No hurry on the accountability buddy though! I have a mastermind group that I’ve had for the past couple of months, and I use those feedback conversations to motivate me. My ideal would be to find someone nearby and who I could perhaps meet in-person.
