    Hi all,

We’re in the midst of setting up our challenges and I’d love to add the feature that GEA uses that show’s which members have completed each challenge (I personally find it really motivating to see that others have achieved the challenge).

Can anyone tell me how to set up the ‘People who have earned this’ feature?

    TIA

Hi there, we used BadgeOS for the challeges, but I dont recommend that you use it. It isnt really being developed or supported much.

There is a new plugin thats much better and also includes currencies – its called Gamipress.

    Check it out:

Darn it @andyfreist we’ve already set it up with BadgeOS! We did this about a week ago.

We’re still in the early stages so we could consider swapping back to GamiPress – I assume our developer will be able to swap it over reasonably quickly and easily?

    Thanks Andy appreciate the help!

I believe they have a badgeos importer tool so it shouldnt be too hard.

Gamipress is actually a fork of BadgeOS, so its based on the same code, but improved upon and actively supported 🙂

Great thanks @andyfreist I think we’ll go for it. Might as well get it optimised from the start.

    Cheers guys!

@andyfreist, I notice they also have additional plugins for LearnDash integration and BuddyPress integration. Do you need those as well?

Update: We decide to stick with BadgeOS for now as it’s doing a few things already that we’d have to pay for if we moved to Gamipress (yes, you do need to buy some of the add-ons @stavido. We might look at a swap down the track but for now we’re going to leave it as we’re watching our costs. 🙂

I love the way you can make badges in Credly with Badgeos and change the colours when every you feel like and they’re all updated automatically.

I looked at Gamipress and couldn’t figure it out, he needs to make some how to videos. He’s very responsive with questions and help, the currency is easy to do, but not the achievements I thought.

I look at youtube videos on Badgeos and it was easy to implement.
