Hello Everyone! Here is my intro video! I did this like 800 times! (This is the best of the terrible takes!) 🙂

My website is http://www.tutorialdojo.com and it will be redesigned and reimagined by the time I reach the Launch Summit. I am so glad to be here and I look forward to meeting all of you online!

    Elijah! Great to “meet” you.

We should definitely have conversations about things like software and animation — I’m a computer geek and am planning to use animation for my story components, rather than green screen like Bradley & Andy did.

And, judging by your shirt, you’ll enjoy some of the themes that are showing up in other ecourses — I’m specifically thinking of Lisa’s superwork and my scifi space theme.

    Looking forward to interacting more!

@elijah it’s so good to see you on video. Your vision makes me smile. I am really excited to get to know you more and to play (key word play) a role in helping that desire come to life. Welcome to the mountain and congratulations on the 500 Bajillion you just earned from putting yourself out there via video!

Elijah, so nice to “meet” you! I like the course idea.  So many people are do-it-yourself-ers and are now learning the basics of Photoshop and other types of software to use in their business. Would you target a specific group of people? (ie, entrepreneurs, teachers, etc)

Hi Deanna! Targeting a particular group is a BRILLIANT idea! I hadn’t thought it about it in that manner! Maybe I should target Entrepreneurs! You guys are already helping me! Thank you so much! I am going to explore that idea a little deeper to see with one makes the most sense!

The benefit of zeroing in on a specific group of people is that it really helps you be specific in your copy and marketing and truly attracts only the people that your course would benefit.  This in turn creates success for your students who will tell everyone all about the course that helped them achieve it!

Elijah, another advantage to targeting a particular market is that while there are folks who do have access to Adobe training, there are a whole bunch who need–or would want–to use the software but don’t have easy ways to learn it. I’m self-taught with most of it, to varying degrees–I’m pretty good with InDesign, have parts of Illustrator down, and can do basic things in Photoshop–but I’d love to have a systematic way to up my skills.

Lots of people I know are independently publishing books (in this case, the topics are fiber crafts) or smaller items (patterns, promotional material). We’ve all been working on teaching each other (the partially sighted leading the partially sighted).

    We’re out here!

Awesome Deb! I have done book and promotional material layouts. That is something I can definitely teach! So maybe I can teach you all how to brand your businesses with your marketing materials. Like how to design a business card, postcards, brochures, ebook layout, etc. I can teach you all how to set up a library of assets to use across all Adobe products. This will help when trying to keep your brand consistent. I’m excited! I must outline this course and get started!

Is there anything specific that you would like to learn in Photoshop or any of the other Adobe products? I think I am also going to get my Adobe certification soon so that I can have that badge to put on my course! I frequent the AdobeMAX conference every year and I can’t wait to share the stuff that I have learned!

    Hi Elijah,

So great to video meet you! My ears perked up as soon as you started talking about graphic design. I come from a painting background but I am slowly but surely learning the basics in Adobe, and I definitely want to learn more!

I think there are a ton of interesting directions to go, and you will probably have a ton of fun designing the look of your course too 🙂

Looking forward to see your course taking shape!

Love all the support and enthusiasm that’s being stirred up around you being here @Elijah.

I would definitely say a course that inspires entrepreneurs to be creative and learn to do things for themselves would be invaluable. I know for myself how many times I felt stuck in the early days because I didn’t have money to hire and skills to do it myself. If you could teach those skills in a super fun, creative way, I bet you’d get a lot of solopreneurs excited.

But the question is and will be remain to be seen til you get up to the Architekt Forest part of the mountain, is THIS the idea you’re MOST excited to work on   😉

Have fun in idea land. Clearly your vision is resonating with a lot of us! Stay open and keep asking the BIG questions:

What do I want to do?
Who do I want to serve?
What skills do I want to teach them?
What creative ways can I come up with to facilitate that learning?

Keep asking. Conversations like these are gold for the creative process!

Thanks Jessica and Bradley! I have been told I have the patience to teach and I really want to help as many people as I can! I think that it would be great to start teaching entrepreneurs how to use Photoshop!
