Hey All!
We are doing our podcast this week on “Fantastic Funnels and Groovy Giveaways.” We’d love to receive links and hear about your favourite ever FREEBE offerings you’ve ever exchanged your email address for.
Thanks for any leads!
November 15, 2016 at 11:46 am #31866I love this idea!
Andrea Scher of Superhero Life is someone who has inspired me for years. I took my first e-course with her and she inspired me to create my first e-course… which eventually led me here!
She’s got some great freebies that you can find right here: http://www.superherolife.com/tools/I created a couple of freebies awhile back too. This was a bit scary but fun and satisfying. One is a printable poster that I just give away, and the more robust one is a mini guide for subscribers only. You can find those here if you’re interested:
http://www.laranewell-barrette.ca/useful-stuff/from-me-to-you.htmlI’m still in the early stages of building my tribe (subscriber list) and would love to learn what kinds of things other folks are offering!
November 26, 2016 at 6:35 pm #32334Besides the podcast that will be going up in December, I wanted a giveaway for when people signed up to my list. I created a freebie/giveaway today but I’m just not sure it gives enough value. It’s a Mission Map for Misson Possible, basically walking them through the overview of things we’ll be covering in the class. It is an infographic, but I would love your ideas on how to really pack it with more value!
Feedback please?!
Edited: found a typo

One idea that popped into my head could be having them do a survey to find out what kind of Agent they are.
Basically, you could come up with a bunch of questions that give them their agent type and a profile for hte kind of entrepreneurial endeavours that’d be most suited to them.
Basically, giving them their ranking.
Then the call to action would be to begin their training via the Mission Possible Course.
I think it oculd be a lot of fun.
You could even make a video as Agent Deanna, giving them their mission to join the Mission Possible, addressing them as their rank and telling them a bit about their skills and purpose. You could do that for each of the rankings you come up with.
Just an idea.
I think you’re right. The map isn’t quite enough. Although, I will say. It’s really cool!
November 26, 2016 at 9:39 pm #32358Lare your site is awesome and I could see so much potential for “challenges” within your “kick your fear to the curb” course. The things you could get and the stories you could retrieve from yoru audience could be so inspiring. I’m really excited to support you with this journey of taking that whole program to the next level. I think it’s awesome. Great site too!
November 27, 2016 at 9:38 am #32389Brad, that is such a great idea! Thank you.
I’ll sit and brainstorm some types along with some questions. Some types floating around in my brain are Makers, World Changers…. Not quite sure what else but I think I’ll go for a walk later today and see what I can come up with.
November 28, 2016 at 7:56 am #32451Thanks so much for taking a look and for the suggestions and feedback Brad! Much appreciated!
November 28, 2016 at 11:33 am #32457Awesome Deanna. Glad that stoked your creative fire. I bet if you did some google searching, you could look up “Entrepreneurial Profiles Surveys” or “Find out what kind of Entrepreneurs” surveys you are. My guess is you w0uldn’t have to make something up from scratch. You could find some existing surveys online and draw from them.
The one thing you would want is for people to feel inspired about whatever role they receive. Probably 4-8 different profiles with a cool “Agent name.” Perhaps, if they buy the course too they could receive their first badge, depending on whatever the profile is they received.
Let me know what you come up with!
November 28, 2016 at 11:35 am #32459Your welcome Lara. I also went through your course the other day.
I think playing around with video is gonna be a HUGE upgrade to your work. Get comfy in front of that camera. It’ll make for an even more engaging, interactive experience for your students. Can’t wait to hear what challenge ideas you come up with 😀
November 28, 2016 at 2:03 pm #32468Deanna & Bradley: Ok, love it! I want to know what agent I am!! That’s awesome!! Awesome course and awesome brainstorm for a giveaway! Seriously! That would totally make me want to know and then take my mission! Superb!! 😀
Lara: Love your ‘small town, BIG LIFE’ …that just rocks! I’m a small town girl all about living a big life true to you! Your picture on your homepage makes me want to sit on the porch with you and a coffee and talk. Very inviting! Also: love your poster, especially: “Remember that your life is your message.”
November 28, 2016 at 2:13 pm #32472Here’s the quiz I’ve got so far. I need to do some tweaking and still need to create the Agent D individual videos. I’d love your thoughts on the quiz.
November 28, 2016 at 2:57 pm #32474That is awesome Deanna!!! It is a lot of tech work to make a quiz? I love quizzes! That was really cool to get an Agent type and then there will be a debriefing! AWESOME!!! Wow!
November 28, 2016 at 4:53 pm #32478Thanks Bobbie Jo!
It was really easy to do. There are a lot of quiz apps online, free and paid. The trick is finding one that has all the things you need (like embedding videos to for the individualized outcomes.)
November 28, 2016 at 6:18 pm #32495Deanna @teenlaunchacademy – the quiz idea made me think of this one I stumbled upon a few weeks back. Thought this was super creative and something that would fit in really well with your audience.
Quiz: What type are you

November 28, 2016 at 7:17 pm #32503Currently I have two true freebies. They can be accessed off my home page about halfway down called Changing Directions and First Steps. I created these from feedback I received from people on what they were looking for at the start of their journey when everything is a crazy mess in their head. Not exceptionally high on gamification. Thoughts?
My current favourite freebie is “The Bewitching Brew” 5 Day Challenge. Creating a branding guide at the end was beyond imaginabley useful, being in a group setting where we were all working at the same step, sharing our work and supporting each other was phenomenally helpful and I got hands on experience working with the leader so I would have a good idea of what working with them later on would be like.
