Okay, here is my Medias Mastery Challenge for the Family Heirloom Camera (and some more bajillion!).

My first trek up the mountain is for my FREE offering: Breathe with the Sea and Be (this video, guided meditation, plus journaling question).

Below is the storyboard and the video.

Okay… hold that thought… having some trouble getting the Vimeo video to show up in here…

Okay, not sure why I can’t get the video to embed… so here it is in the temporary page (with the rest of the offering as well).

    Nice work Bobbie Jo @kapakai8gmail-com!

A couple of suggested tweaks –

    – add more space between the sections to create more of a feeling of space and sea breeze flowing through.

    – can you download the meditation to an mp3 player / phone / computer?

    – Move the “carry this …” at the very bottom to the top. I’m assuming you mean carry all three components with you. If not, what about adding a fourth step to have them pull out key words or phrases to capture the experience they wrote about, and put it on a card they can carry with them. They can decorate or colour the card any way they wish. Could they listen to the meditation again while creating the card and infuse that feeling even further into their presence?

Aloha Lorraine! Thank you so much for your feedback! I will take look now at moving the bottom wording, great suggestion!

Question, with this: “– add more space between the sections to create more of a feeling of space and sea breeze flowing through.” are you referring to the web page? (Between the video, mp3 and journal?) Or were you referring to the video content or audio content? I’m thinking you mean the page sections. I love that idea a lot (but I struggle with space layouts and usually just hit return a bunch in the code to space them, not sure that’s the proper way, haha!)

And this: “– can you download the meditation to an mp3 player / phone / computer?” That is the goal, I have to google how to do it, as it embeds, but I’m not sure how to get the download selection available.

Again, thank you for your time and awesome feedback!!! Much appreciated!

Bobbie Jo @kapakai8gmail-com – yes, more space on the web page between sections.

I would use blank lines too. 🙂

Is the download option available on a right click if you create a link to the mp3 file location?

I added another “ ” (it only seems to let me add one for some reason) to space it out a little more.

When I right click (or control click) it gives the option of ‘save as.’ (it is currently a link to the file, just embedded in a media player to play on the page)

Oh how I wish I were more ‘tech savvy!’

Hey BJ, a simple solution for making it available for download is to make a link to a dropbox folder that says “Download Ocean Breath Meditation Here.” I do that for my audio meditations. Never had a problem.

Bradley: Do you have them all saved in your Dropbox account then, and that’s where people get them? I’m guessing then I’d need a bigger Dropbox than the free version? I know I haven’t downloaded much into it (I just open the shared files from people when I get sent to their Dropbox to download, as I’m not sure I have enough space to actually download them).

Yes, they are all saved on dropbox. My plan feels like unlimited cuz it’s so big and it’s only $10.99/month CAD.

If you delete anything not being used in your dropbox folder, you should be able to have plenty of room for some audios in there. They dont’ take up much space.
