From the refining of architekt forest 280:

Okay the refinement from Architekt forest

What: Busting Fashion Myths teaches women they have an emotional relationship with their clothing and themselves based on beliefs they have consciously or unconsciously formed mostly from cultural myths, family dynamics, and the opinions of others.

Why: Until we know about this relationship with ourselves and our clothing it is usually very negative based on a culture with an exceeding narrow definition of beauty leaving women feeling un-beautiful un-loved and un-acceptable.  For the better of ourselves our daughters and our sons this needs to change.

Who: Those who like myself, no matter the age, have tried the fashion industry solution of buying external things to address internal struggles. And eventually like me they found that this solution is ultimately ineffective.  AND those who are ready to take courage to address the emotions in their internal closets.

Transformation: For this course the transformation is a change in attitude from being a victim of our thoughts, culture, family messages to taking the courage to step forward into our personal power and start the process of owning and sorting our emotions, beliefs, related to our bodies and our wardrobes.

How: You have beliefs and emotions about yourself and your wardrobe.  How these are formed.  Discovering your beliefs from the culture, your family, others opinions of you.  Awareness of the inner workshop you’ve likely created for yourself (although not all parts of your life may have this), Awareness of the inner workshop tools that are much more beneficial, The choice is yours moving forward.

Vibe: The course is supposed to be fun, compassionate, and creative, inspiring you to take power of your relationship with your clothing and yourself.

After a long month of working and crying and refining, Architekt forest is finished! On to Creatora Heights.

The value is not in the information it is in the transformation. Oh how I needed to hear that.  What makes us different is we are not overloading people with information, there is tons of information on the internet already.  We are guiding them through a transformation. Thank you @bradleytmorris

Yes @mars I did. see you tomorrow.

video script for my next youtube video:415

    Hi It’s Fiona,

Welcome to Style by Fiona, teaching you to work with your natural beauty and emotions so you can both look and feel beautiful. And that combination is the style of YOU.

In this video we will be looking at alternatives to super high heels.  In my last video, linked above I showed you why high heels aren’t sexy.  But I’ve had requests saying that’s great so what do I wear instead?  This video is my answer to that question.

A few years ago my chiropractor told me that it is best to wear heels that are 2 inches or lower for proper body alignment.  In my personal research I’ve found that information to be accurate across the health professions.

Most importantly I’ve found that to be true for myself.  I can comfortably wear 2 inch or less heels all evening at a fashion gala or other event.

So here are a few beautiful and attractive alternatives that I’ve found work for me and my clients.

Mid height Wedges – these are a great alternative to stiletto or super high heels.  The full bottom provides more stability.

Platforms/flatforms look at the incline of the platform another althernative that has become popular again in the last few years are flatforms that are a flat platform They give you a little height without the damage caused from stilletos.

Mid-block heels – These are a good choice as they still give you a little height but they are also more stable and you are less likely to roll your heels etc

Kitten heels – low heels mean less toppling and

Flats – some of my clients have had foot issues and cannot wear heels at all.  There are increasingly other attractive options in flast

It is far better to have a few pairs of good quality shoes that respect your feet that go with most of your outfits than wasting tons of money on many pairs that are cute but really hurt your feet, and as a result end up unworn in your closet.

So in the long run you are not only saving your feet, you are saving your money too.

As I said before you only get one pair of feet so take care of them lovingly.

Thank you for watching, please subscribe and share this video on facebook, or twitter or other social media.

I love your vision and what you want to bring into the world. Helping women to recognize how they see themselves, what messages they’ve internalized and coming to know and accept who they truly are through a relationship with their clothing is brilliant. Love how it ties together.

Love the practical suggestions in your youtube video script also.

I am working also on a massive term paper for my Master’s this month, so even though it is not related to the course, it is still writing, which will be most days, it will give me practice.  So here’s to that too.  First Page 1.5 rough draft done yesterday about 600 words.

900 words on the paper, yes not directly related to busting fashion myths, but in the future I will include forgiveness as part of a larger course regarding what the fashion industry has taught us.  So in that way learning exactly what forgiveness is and isn’t is very important
