Progress log update #1

This is my first log and I was inspired by reading the other logs to jump in! I’ve been resisting because ummmm… well… honestly… I didn’t want to be held accountable.  😀  But I know something about myself and one of the ways that helps me hold myself accountable and make progress is to LET other people hold me accountable. So here I am.

Where I’m at:  I decided to pre-launch my course (before I even finish it) and have been busy behind the scenes setting up the course pages, email sequences, technical aspects of the flow from visitor of my site to potential buyer to buyer. The reason for pre-launching is simple: accountability (there we go again). If I’ve promised my buyers a date when they can start, I cannot let them down and will push myself to make it happen by that date. I’ve hired a FB ad manager and hopefully we can start promoting next week.

This is not my ultimate great eCourse (that would take a lot more time, see below) but I’ve incorporated a lot of what I’ve learned here in this adventure and have created a fun, themed course that I’m really excited to put out there. It will be my basic, inTREEductory course that can at least get people started on their emotional healing journey until my great eCourse is created.

What I want/need: more time! Always, more time… (even though time doesn’t really exist)

What I’m going to do: continue plugging away. I’ve created the course site (http://innerhappycourses.com/welcome-inner-happy-courses) with my silly Stick Girl theme (loving it and it’s bringing out the playfulness in me!) and by next week’s update, will have:

1)  Finished my email sequence for buyers

2) Transitioned to my new email marketer (ConvertKit) from my old (aWeber)

3) Posted the FB ad

4) Reached out to my subscribers announcing the course
