Following up from our awesome coaching call today, I wanted to post the video that really helped me get through some of the stickier points on my climb to Launch Summit.
Re-watching the video, I think I ended up kind of combining 2 of the strategies he talks about. What helped me was to
1) write out and get super clear on each of my fears (i.e. The website will crash, I won’t know what to do, people won’t like the eCourse etc)
2) I wrote out what would happen if those fears came true, and just let it go
3) I made a sort of tree-list of what I would do in case one of those worst fears came true.
It REALLY helped me get out of the frozen-in-fear phase (I think that phase lasted about 4 months for me…yikes)
Turns out the original method comes from Tim Ferriss, I still want to hear his take on the ‘fear setting’ technique.
Enjoyed hearing your journey today @jescantonelli Identified with a lot of what you said. Even cooler for me, I’ve actually been to San Miguel De Allende.
Great video! Thanks for sharing Jess. It is inspiring to see and hear from someone that reached launch summit! When you talked yesterday about impostor syndrome and said to just do it before you are ready, it really inspired me. Especially knowing that you had the same fear and yet you have launched!
