I have sooo many threads to put to words on page. This challenge is perfect!

My goal is to break the 10 days and do every day if possible!

Already started today by sketching an article for sharing… It ain’t even lunch time!

Some of the many writing ideas here to sort through and prioritize:

    1. Write out the MASTERHEART salespage and intro video.
    2. Write an article about martial arts and how it helps bullies evolve and victims to heal.
    3. Write an article about how parents and teachers fall into traps that help bullies.
    4. Write an article about how parents, teachers and therapists can help bullies and victims to heal.
    5. Write out more STORIES about my own struggles and successes in marriage.
    6. Write out the 30 Day Breakthrough to Love series… to be recorded in podcast format later.
    7. Continue writing the STAY or GO? choose-your-own-adventure book for men.
    8. Write out my 30 Day – 15 mins a day — HAPPY BODY training series — for me primarily and then anyone who wants to join me.

So much more wanting to be defined and put out there…

Wow, you have a lot on your plate, @davidj!
Do you create each piece one at a time or are you a “multitasker”?

    LOL! @wewontbreak

My brain is an endless fountain of ideas… waking me at odd hours throughout day and night…

But the only way I get anything done with any quality is “chop wood and carry water”… one darn word at a time… : )

Actually a few days ago I listened to a podcast about those people who have a dozen new ideas each day. The girl talked about how she thought it was a burden when she was younger, but she now accepts and loves this part of her personality. You just need a good storage system for all those ideas so they don’t bug you like a fly circling around your head 🙂

Just heard bad news from my executive director, whom is getting in everyone’s way at my workplace lately. Wants to pause the release of the novel I spent two years writing and meddle with the release or shelve it. Feels like my wisdom and creative fire is being pissed on by someone in power with envy. Want to smash something, but will keep writing instead. : )

There is always a path forward…

Reminds me also of why building my own business into a vibrant source and hub that hires all my favorite friends on is the best channel for the heart and soul I wish to devote to helping others…

@davidj -First of all STINKER on the book!  I don’t know what to tell you, except that my heart is bleeding for you.  I can’t imagine putting all that work and effort into writing a book (something I’ve NEVER done) and then taking time to share it and go through multiple revisions and then feel ready to burst because you’re putting it out there – and then to have someone karate chop it to the ground.  That’s not sportsmanlike!!!

As for the challenge, though, it’s apparent you have no shortage of ideas!  I’m with you on spouting ideas at all hours.  The sad part is when a good one gets away – which seems like often since there are so many percolating and banging around in there!  No time to choose them all.

The daily writing discipline is really good for capturing ideas on paper – even in their incomplete and incoherent stages.  And if you write for long enough, you may enter that “magic” zone when ideas take on a personality and direction of their own.

    Happy writing!!!

    Ok.

    Progress.

I started writing out my sales page for MASTERHEART.

I’ve sketched out an article on my relationship to violence and conflict. It’s a longer piece that has layers. Want to submit it to magazines.

I also wrote a respectful and firm letter to my boss’s boss, expressing a desire to re-define and re-negotiate my contract.

    Bam!

Woah! Nothing like a bit of anger to get those fingers typing and start writing! I also think, that writing in this kind of situation, is the most amazing therapy there is. It’s the first thing I do when I’m annoyed about something – write it all out. Even if I don’t ever send it to the person concerned, it gets it out of my head and heart and leaves me feeling a whole lot better. So I am so pleased you did that as part of your writing today. The challenge has come along at a perfect time in that regard.

Can’t imagine how crappy you must be feeling about your boss and what he has done with the book. I feel so upset for you. I can’t think of what to say to help you, only that old saying ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ I think this may be one of those times, when you use this horrible scenario to stoke your own fire?

Your writing aims sound fantastic and intruiging too! Will you be sharing them with us so we can have a read? I would love to, if you’d be happy to share? Best of luck @davidj I am rooting for you!

    The NOVEL is back on!

I am having conversations with important people (everyone is important really but especially in this context). In part due to EMPATHY and also being clear about what I want and have to offer in what I wrote two days ago.

Today, I wrote also more about the MASTERHEART… Why good men struggle in relationships. Why it’s not our fault. What can be done to change that… Next, I will write about what many men have tried already that has not worked for them and what I am offering to meet the unmet needs that could also be more effective (skills, healing, habits, community, support).
