My name is: Dr. Carrie Miller
I teach: eLearning, Instructional Design, Performance Improvement, Intro to Technology in Education, Social Media in Education and Games and Simulations in Education
Why I signed up for The Great eCourse Adventure: To get different perspectives and ideas from others and to explore this learning environment
What kind of e-course I want to create: A gamified course (Games and Simulations or Intro to Technology)
What makes me come most alive is: When my students are excited and enthusiastic, then ask “what other courses are you teaching?”

Hi Carrie, welcome to the adventure!

I’m looking forward to geeking out about instructional design and gamification since I also “play” with those in my day job as college professor.

Wow @carrllew, this is so exciting to have you here. I’m excited to hear about your experience, experiments and explorations in the art of gamification. We’d be happy to jam on that topic too.

If inspired, start a thread over at the Art of Engagement campfire and we’ll dive into the deep end with whatever you’re wanting to explore and be curious about.

Thanks so much for being here and for sharing with us a bit about yourself.

@carrllew, this is a great experience and I’ll bet you’ll feel far more supported–like you’ve got that team you mentioned you didn’t have at work {wry grin}.
