We begin with a laundry list of GEA Updates including:
Next Week Wednesday being the LAST Coaching Call of 2016!7:40 GEA member Chris is LIVE and ready for some Genius Coaching!
10:40 Chris wants to dial in the theme for his Emergency Preparedness Course. B and A, not really feeling the Martial Arts theme melding with his course topic, go headfirst into a deep dive “THEME BRAINSTORM’ sesh with Chris. Watch the creative process in action as the guys start with a fictional “Apocalyptic/Zombie” theme but settle on a more “non-fiction” and realistic story version.
A GREAT discussion for ALL on “How do we stretch the boundaries and adapt our theme to the learning experience we’re creating”
Big Takeaway: “Place people as FAR into the “story” as you can.”
38:28 Watch Chris go thru the “creative motion” as he builds on the idea… You can hear the BELLS going off in Chris’s head and see SPARKS of excitement flying…YEAH!!
41:44 Brad is feeling A full-body YES!!
43:37 Andy sees potential in Chris’s Course with Local Organizations.
44:15 Akasha thinks his course would work well as a Group or Family Course.
45:25 Brad on how Chris can incorporate Badges or other ways to prove they have completed the exercises.
47:00 Ideas fly on creating courses specifically for Industry Leaders.
50:20 Akasha asks about TIME CONSTRAINT issues and need help slaying that Dragon! Andy says that “Priorities make a statement”
52:14 Brad and The Power of BLOCKING OFF CHUNKS of distraction-free TIME.
54:00 Andy shares his experience with the “messiness” of finally getting clear and following his priorities, setting boundaries and having to upset a few people in the process.
56:55 Brad says to “Communicate as CLEARLY as possible.”
57:55 Andy talks about Tad’s coaching page and his brutally clear/honest communication process…brilliant.
1:00:50 Priorities and Boundaries. Know and convey your Priorities BEFORE you take on a client. LOVE Brad’s line:
“Clients are hungry Dragons and will eat up ALL your time if you let them”!!!December 13, 2016 at 5:16 pm #33227Chris – thanks for sharing your brainstorming/thought process with the group! As I was watching the video, the movie “Day After Tomorrow” came to mind in the first 20 minutes or so, so I DO think rewatching that will give you some nuggets of inspiration!

December 13, 2016 at 5:33 pm #33241Good call Wendy. Hope you took some good stuff away from the creative process! Also hope you can make it on for a coaching session so we can do the same with you 😀
That’s where the magic and gold is!
December 13, 2016 at 5:42 pm #33249Bradley – The timing doesn’t usually work with my “day job” commitments. So I’ve been listening to the Podcasts while driving and trying to catch up on the Coaching Call videos.
I hope to be online tomorrow, as we cut loose from work a little early for our holiday party 🙂
Thanks for all you and Andy do to support your mountain climbers!
December 14, 2016 at 8:52 am #33261Awesome, well we hope to see you today.
AND – fyi, you can always send us your questions, problems, etc and we’ll address them, allowing you to receive the transmission in yoru own time 🙂
It can often be far more valuable than just posting in the community asking for feedback cuz we can say a lot more in a conversational setting.
