Week 24
July 7
The Commander has been busy puttering around the garden so no work on the course the last few days.
July 13, 2018 at 8:34 pm #78146That sounds nice. Get any good footage and garden sound bites for the course or promo materials?
July 15, 2018 at 6:07 pm #78232@bradleymorris, I had thought about it, but with it being 90F+ and the fact the Commander doesn’t go anywhere without his leather jacket, I decided not too. I may yet though.
July 18, 2018 at 6:51 pm #78347Probably a good idea to break up all that audio engineering with some good ol’ fashion barefoot Earthing to balance things out.
July 18, 2018 at 6:55 pm #78354@bradleymorris LOL. My day job is taking all my time the last few weeks, but hope to get back to working on my course again this weekend. I am thinking about creating a mini-lesson that I can start to use as part of the promotion.
July 19, 2018 at 8:23 pm #78374I’d love to see a mini lesson @Stavido!
July 22, 2018 at 5:54 am #78457Week 25-26
July 22
My day job has been taking a huge amount of my time the last couple of weeks. Going to try to figure out how I can carve out some time to work on my course, GSM, and my case business. I shot the Green Screen Magic Video 2 clips weeks ago, just haven’t had time to edit those into a finished video, let alone shoot the 3 video. I plan to create a mini-lesson for the AudioNemisis course – this will give me a chance to market with and get some customer feedback. I’ll get there.
July 25
Got together with my chief collaborator Henry. He was handling the screen shots of the Commander, creating the backgrounds…so good, I hope to share a bit in the next few days.
July 27
Hoping to shoot more videos for the Audio Nemesis tomorrow, all depends on whether I can get a Hannibal Lecter mask for Dr. Dreadful in time. May have to wait till next week. Finally found a bean bag for the last shot of the Commander. Then it’s onto dropping Nigel Cuthbert Jigglybottom (aka Q) into his setting. Tonight it is more surfing the net for ideas on what I want certain backdrops to look like. It can really take time.
Week 27
July 28
Got Doctor Dredful’s mask ready and capture a test shot to see how it looks. Let me know what you think. Should be able to start shooting Module 3 videos with the Doc next week.
Thought I would share one of the Commander videos.
August 20, 2018 at 12:17 pm #80366@stavido Dr Dredful is awful in the best possible way! Love the Commander. Looking forward to seeing what else he posts. Well done and I hope you’re managing to get back here to the mountain. And as to what @bradleytmorris said about getting your feet into the earth.. I did that the other day. It’s wonderful. Be back soon Commander.
August 20, 2018 at 1:53 pm #80375Aw man, I swomehow missed this post last month. Dr. Dredful is GREAT and I loved the commander’s welcome video. Way to go man. I hope we some day get to host your course on the eCourse Adventures network. It’s on our team bucketlist!!!!
August 20, 2018 at 8:22 pm #80387@stavido You are amazing; you are opening to a whole new world on eCourses.
Just a thought could Hannibal Lecter be the man who eats all the good sounds? And the fight is between him and the commander?
August 21, 2018 at 5:36 pm #80433@xbobby, Hannibal Lecter is the inspiration for Dr Dredful, but the person in the picture will not be available for awhile. I shot another test shot with my second son and he may be an even better candidate to play him.
@bradleytmorris, I may not have the time to do the whole LearnDash approach for the Audio Nemesis, so I may look into hosting on the eCourse Adventure Network.
@mars, thanks for the kind words and feedback. My day job has been just sucking up all my time. I also have a synthesizer convention next month and I have to get product ready for that. I also build modular synthesize cases on the side (http://etherealsun.com), although I have decided to liquidate my existing stock and just build a custom/bespoke case now and then. Trying to figure out how to get my course back on track and completed.
I have been working on the theme music for Dr Dredful, so I have been doing something towards my course.
I did decided to invest in the full Adobe suite, they had a deal for $30/month which was unbelievable good. Had my video guy using it, which helped get the commander video done. Once I get through the first week of September, things should return to hectic from insane.
August 22, 2018 at 10:23 am #80446Sounds good @stavido. Let us know when you’re closer to complete on the production side of things and we’ll set up a meeting AND book you for the show!!! We’d love to interview you.

August 25, 2018 at 5:51 am #80532Week 31
August 25
August has been an overly busy month in my day job. I have to find smaller chunks of time to sneak in to keep this course moving. A bit over subscribed at the moment. Thank all for the comments and encouragement, it helps.
Sorry @xbobby & @mars I haven’t been on the mountain this month to encourage your progress. Bo I see you are in the top #5 now, well done. Still hovering at #12. Don’t know why that is important to me, but I do find the gamification aspect of GEA fun and stimulating.
I’d definitely be there to watch this interview!

Thanks Ranger Boss Lady @rangerbosslady, I forget that you are not just a pretty face and hollywood love interest to Sherpa Steve, you are also a loyal GEA community member.
