Hi Folks, I downloaded and installed Evernote on my PC, however I have been trying to open it for several days and i keep getting the message : “Could not connect to server. You need to be online to register or perform inital synch. ” My intenet is connected and working fine. I searched for earlier versions of Evernote compatible with Windows 7, downloaded, installed and same problem. I borrowed another laptop with Windows 10 just to see if it was a Windows glitch, and was able to install and synch successfully. But still can’t get it to run on my trusty old laptop ๐Ÿ™
Any suggestions? Maybe something in my internet settings??

Hmmm, I really don’t know where to begin.. This may be a job for Evernote tech support..

That said, you can use evernote in the browser.. just go to evernote.com and log in.. The only thing is that you cant import the new checkpoint journals in the browser version.

    So a workaround is this:

    1. Import the journals with another computer that works with Evernote
    2. On your main laptop, go to evernote.com and log in to access/write in your journal
    3. When you get to a new checkpoint, you need to import the new notes on the other computer again.

I know this isnt ideal, but it is one way to go if Evernote tech support doesnt have a solution.

In the meantime, we included printable PDF versions of the journals in the download file so you can keep going..
