    Hi,

Is there a place where there is an explanation as to how the campfires, walls, message area and notifications work and interact with each other? This is all foreign to me. How do I connect with people privately to exchange contact info without it posting it to the wall. What if I hate how everything I do is posted to the wall. What is the difference between a notification and a message?

I spent many minutes trying to figure out how to read the message in the messages area. It kept just showing me I had a message and would not open it for me to read. I finally left and accessed it in a different way.

    Thanks for your help,

    Akasha

Hey Akasha, were you on the group webinar today? We explained this and mentioned we’ll be making a video to give you a deeper tour of the website. Just wanna see if your question has been answered before @andyfreist and I do it again 🙂

    HI Bradley,

Yes, I was on the webinar, so I will wait for your video. And I heard how you go to member directory and go to the right side and access where it says private message. I saw how to do that, thank you!

I do have a specific question though. I had a message in “Messages”. I went there and clicked on everything I could see and it just kept coming back to the inbox showing I had a message. It never actually opened the message so I could read it. I did end up leaving and going to my mail program to access it.

But I am curious. How does one actually open a message in “Messages” so it can be read? Again, I clicked on everything imaginable and it just kept refreshing the inbox page.

    thanks!

And great inspiring webinar, I am excited to have more fun exploring and focusing on learning the process rather than racing to the finish line.

    Hi @Akasha,

We too are really figuring out all the intricacies of the system – We’ll have a proper tutorial video for you soon!

In the meantime, here’s a short animation of me in the Messages area, opening up a message.. Are you able to see something similar?

I also think it is a bit unwieldy to find out info about people, the wall is a bit overwhelming with all of the posts from all of the forums there. I think it would be a nice feature to have a profile page with what we’ve shared as our introduction there so it can be easily accessed and we can find out about each other without having to scroll through the intro threads in the forum. Also, I couldn’t get my instagram name to load on my profile. Appreciating you guys! @bradleytmorris @andyfreist

Hi @blissmother, we’re looking into the possibility of having the ability to have a BIO attached to your user page as well. It may require hiring a coder. It’s definitely on our list. Thanks for baring with us through this eCourse Adventure upgrade 😉

@andyfreist, any idea why Sarah can’t upload her instagram name?

Hi @blissmother – Not sure about the instragram thing – will look into that.

I just added a new “a little bit about me” field to everyones profiles.. So if you go to your profile and click Edit, you’ll see the new field! Thanks for the suggestion!

Is there any logic to which text elements in that “A little bit about me” field are clickable searches?
