Because of this mountain program I am really rethinking everything about my courses.

I have started to make animations every day, for the last month.

And I have started in a new animations software: GoAnimate.

I have no idea how I am going to use them, but they feel like building blocks.

This is the first one I made for you.

Where am I in the course?

I just started the Mapora Meadows.

    I will post more animations.

    Wow Anneke, So Fun!

I don’t know anything about animation but am quite impressed you made that. Is that what your course is about, teaching people to do digital animation like that? How long did it take you to create that animation?

    Cheers,

    Chris

    Thank you,Chris!

I teach people how to make animations, who have never made an animation before (on Udemy.com). I mostly use easier software like Powtoon, for people to start with animation.

This one is made in GoAnimate, which is one level higher, because you can have the puppets(as I call them) make movements. I just started out learning this software, it cost me about two hours to make.

Here on the mountain I want to explore, how I can make my teaching more fun and more interactive.

The internet is evolving towards video and by using these new animation software’s, it will be easier for people to take part and get attention and get their message across (if done in the right way).

So my course should be an example of that 😉

What will your course be about?

Jusr read your bio, makes me happy.

    Greetings, Anneke

ha, so amazing, I love it! I’ve been thinking how cool it could be to have some animation built into some of my courses.

The course I am working on right now is around the concept of adaptability and resiliency in the face of major world changes such as climate change, a changing economy, health care, etc. It will help ppl form a personalized strategy to be prepared for a quickly changing word well developing specific skills sets around emergency and disaster preparedness, strategic thinking and situational awareness. I intend to create one course focused on adults and a second one specific for families that can be done with young children and that makes preparedness and awareness fun and engaging.

For the family one I was envisioning how cool it would be to have animated characters in short clips learning new skills and being rewarded for their hard work and courage. I might have to bounce some ideas off you as the vision gets clearer.

Looking forward to your course development and your courses.

For your family course, I would suggest to take a look at Powtoon.com.

This is an easy to learn program with professional looking results.

In the ideal course, you would not only make lectures with animated characters but because Powtoon has a free version, the families could make their own animations with the characters too!

Hi, Bradley. Thanks for reaching out! I needed some rest, and have camped out in my new garden. I also am making a new course for Udemy, because my income there has dropped like a stone. Still, this mountain adventure has me thinking and changing things. I think what you have made is impressive. I am feeling more confident to make my courses more in my style, thanks to you. I will be back on the mountain! I have been making an animation a day for a while, to get the creative juices flowing. Take a look: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiBa2KTVBlZHp_-wyYz93TMCDTwMiqXZj Speak soon!

Welcome back Anneke, great to hear from you. Nice to hear you enjoyed your time in the garden. Sometimes we just gotta stop and enjoy the view from where we are for a while.

That’s impressive that you’ve been doing an animation per day for so long. You must be learning a lot from doing it.

Glad you’re enjoying this adventure and look forward to seeing what you create in the end   🙂

    Hi Anneke,

Great job with following your internal compass.

There’s no reason why you can’t make THE BEST animation course on Udemy, and use that to fund your dream project!

Considering you are already on Udemy, you might as well leverage their platform while you’re still learning and developing.

If you have any specific questions or need assistance in any way, we’re here for ya!
