The idea generator was great help…
I gained more clarity that I will be focusing on developing the “you-nique business branding” idea and not on the “intuitve art journeys” – that I had been doing over the last 2 years. Those are fun but not very profitable or in such high demand – I would need to educate on the benefits alot to create a demand for them. They are absolutely amazing – no question… and I’ll still do them but maybe more live.
Now I also see that I can still include creative activation and intuitve art guidance exercices into the branding (making your business You-nique) sort-of eCourse. I am happy about this clarity… it all makes sense. Plus what makes it more profitable and in demand that I can show people how to bring together their skills & talents, find their heart calling and translate it into an authentic felt-sense presence online. It can be intuitive and I can include the personal transformation work as well as the fun creative play and the technical how-to built a website, create images etc. that align with a person’s calling and their tribe. I’ve been doing that for others now I can teach them to do it themselves or at least help them see how all their gifts can come together. It still feels rather packed with content tho, don’t you think?.
So I wonder if I start with creating this big fat all inclusive eCourse or make modules like 1. clarity on heart business, 2. visual translation 3. online presentation. The thing is if I create modules than I am “competing” (well sort of) with similar classes just on this one topic… I think it is actually a plus that I can serve all these different aspects of creating a brand from conception to practical finish but I am worried if it is too much for one eCourse.
What you think? Big all inclusive class or modules?
January 12, 2016 at 6:23 pm #9870Hello. My opinion is that an E-course that has lots of content can be overwhelming for people. When they see a long road ahead of them they might be hesitant to get started. This also depends on who is your target market as well.
I think providing smaller E-courses would make it easier for the people doing the courses. However, providing more does help you stand out from the competition and does add value.
This is just my opinion and I hope this has helped you out. I am sure whatever you choose to do will work out for you!!
January 12, 2016 at 6:33 pm #9885I love your ideas @awi.
One question is, what is THE TRANSFORMATION you want to provide participants of your eCourse?
Once you know that answer, you can ask yourself what the best way to get them there is.My suggestion is to write out ALL the modules and individual exercises you can think up, as they surface (because I’m sure more will surface) and then carry on with the friendly wizard. More clarity will come.
Don’t worry about choosing THE IDEA. That will become clear.
Happy for the clarity you have so far though. Great work.
January 13, 2016 at 4:26 am #10042@rodolfomenjivar thanks so much you for your feedback. I treasure it.
I am feeling overwhelmed myself by all my imagined content before I even begin (how would a client even feel). So it’s a very valid point to break it into modules! I was thinking that… maybe I shouldn’t worry about competition to much and trust…hahah!!! My people are creatives, healers, coaches … usually they know and treasure adventures however long… I will see what clarity unfolds from here on.
As @bradleytmorris mentioned seems like a good thing to start by writing everything possible down and I guess edit later. I like that. THanks Bradley!
January 13, 2016 at 9:35 am #10131Ya @awi, take it one step at a time. Get the big vision of what you want to do and the transformation you want to provide. There will be a little of refining that comes. Even start talking to clients and friends you know, asking them what they’d love support with out of the ideas you’re thinking about. 🙂
January 13, 2016 at 8:07 pm #10311Awesome epiphanies Awi!
I really dig how you are discovering how to inject your passion for intuitive art journeys into the more profitable realm of business branding 😉
One question, when you say “multiple modules”, do you mean multiple courses? Because I think of one course being made up of a number of modules, so i was a bit confused there..
January 13, 2016 at 8:08 pm #10313The key thing is that your course provides a single, clear and tangible result. A specific desired outcome is going to be far more attractive to your audience than a big huge vague promise..
January 14, 2016 at 7:17 pm #10536Aloha, Awi! I love your clarity here and like Andy said, your awareness that you can weave your art journeys into your business course….working on our levels/steps in the Meadows helped me clarify this issue you raise of how to handle such a large amount of content and whether to just do a bunch of smaller classes or to tackle the big dream ecourse….I have come to a solution that some of the video classes that will eventually end up in my larger ecourse will be available as separate classes early on in my journey. I have a succession of the order that I will release them and the first one will be free as my launch of having online classes available. This will help me promote my larger ecourse, get my email list up, and create some cash to flow into the bigger transformational journey. These classes will of course have much more competition in the marketplace, but will require less information on why the people need them b/c they are more in demand already. Hope that offers something for you to munch on…
Blessings, Sistar!January 23, 2016 at 7:35 am #12715meh after some feedback of my intuitive soul buddies in a personal mastermind… it was clearly reflected that my intuitive art journeys had much more excitement, soul energy and purpose… plus easier to start with as i’ve already done them with about 40 people. … now i’m bit scambled… back to the beginning of “what?”… thing is the intuitive art journeys are all about letting go, trust guidance and learn your souls language through creative expression… but it’s personal not a promised tangible result. not sure if people do crave guidance … would be good tho.
so I now am thinking about an creative eCourse to focus on transmitting the intuitive creative tools for guidance & clarity and perhaps I will direct it towards distilling someone’s unique message, soul calling, brand colors and imagery in preparation for building an online presence. What you think? @bradleytmorris @andyfreist @alexiscox
still wanting to bring the 2 together (branding and art)
February 1, 2016 at 8:49 pm #15291Curious where you’re at with all this after our call last Wednesday @awi?
February 9, 2016 at 11:10 am #16285Thanks @bradleytmorris for asking. I am getting the downloads and with it more clarity for the course. It looks like it will be a series of courses with the general theme of
FULLY SEEN: The Art of Connection –
How to access and use your intuitive creative guidance to jumpstart your (soul fulfilling) business.
(Something along the lines of that).Part 1: Seeing/Connecting with yourself to fuel your essence and distill a you-nique “brand”
Part 2: Seeing/Connecting with others authentically and through intuitive creative play (human heart connection)
Part 3: Being Fully Seen Online (Stepping on stage)
Possibly a Part 4: Seeing and creating business structure and systems from the inside out (but I am still learning this myself)
I will start with Part 1:
Intuitive Creative Journey to fuel your essence creatively, connect and transform your shadow, distill your soul’s message and remix your gifts, experience and skills to create a you-nique (brand or) offering that nurtures your soul and serves your tribe.Main purpose:
- to learn creative tools to access and trust soul guidance for creating a younique business (brand)
- to move through personal blocks and charge up energy with intuitive creative play
- refine intuition and awareness of the creative process
- learn to trust how to create (a business, or anything) from within instead of following pre-made models or concepts of others
Possible results (that people choose with their intention according to where they are in their creative process)
- distill a visual brand
- create blog posts from the discoveries and art that was created during the class
- album art for music, book covers, sales pages etc.
- distill a creative “about me” page,
- create ideas for unique videos using dance, music, art, presence etc.
- you-nique portraits for website, sales pages, about me pages, blog, etc.
I am working on how to direct this eCourse in a way that it is also intuitive and perhaps not so linear as most courses are… so people really follow their intuition for what their next step is instead of me giving them a linear step by step thing. But I don’t know it might be both… some linear and somethings else.
That’s where it’s at right now. Getting more clearer.
