    Alchemy Jeff

    Hi fellow adventurists!

I am an artist and alchemist and I’m excited by creating fun, inspirational, and sometimes transformational experiences.  So it looks like I’m adventuring with the right crowd!
My full-time gig is doing visual effects for games.  I’m also immersed in exploring VR (virtual reality), which I’m super enthusiast about.  I signed up for this course because I love the idea of combining learning with games and fun.

The first e-course I want to create will either be about teaching others how to become a visual effects artist for video games, or how to create your first VR application.  I’m looking forward to our journey together!

    Hi Jeff!

Great to meet you!  I’m also super interested in VR.  One of my goals is to host a VR adventure travel podcast in the near future. If you like games do you know about Jane Mcgonigals work Superbetter?

    Hi Derek,

No I’d never heard of it before, but thanks for the tip.  I love this approach of using games to achieve real-world objectives.  Your podcast idea sounds great! There are so many really interesting applications for VR that are springing up everywhere.  If you haven’t yet checked out the offerings on gear VR and Samsung’s Milk (a 360 video service), it’d be worth your while.

Thanks for introducing yourself and let’s keep in touch.

    – Jeff
